Title: Acr
Description: ideas?

balduvia - May 13, 2006 03:47 AM (GMT)
just wanted to start a thread to see what are the most killer parts of your ambitious card routines. (which i would assume is usually the last part, no?) hopefully this can help give everyone ideas on what to add to their acr (myself included, definitely)

i have nothing original which i use, but seriously considering jay sankey's paperclipped! to end off.

Well, You can end your ACR routine in many ways. Some might preferred the "pop up" effect, shapeshifter effect. Normally, i end the ACR routine where the card goes into my mouth. :)

Most killer parts of my ambitious card routine? Hmmm. It got to be when I end using the card and cut the spectator's neck with a papercut, killing them. That's my killer ending.

Anyway, my alternate ending (requires no killing) is to end it in my mouth. Another one which I do is to end with the whole deck magically appear in my pocket leaving the choosen card alone in my hand without the spec noticing. :)

Oh yes. a very good way to end your routine. I learnt it after replaying david blaine's tv show for like half and hour non stop. Very ambitious indeed. Quite easy to execute but hard to master. I've never tried it before in my acr.

Every phase of your Ambitious card routine should be a killer.

If, you don't get a reaction during your first phase, then the ACR is not memorable. Do a DL, place the selection in the middle, and make it come back on top.

Thats enough to make people scream.

After that, ensure that every phase improves and is more impressive.

The ending for mine is card to mouth, inversion somersault or woodfields card to shoe.

However, if I get amazing reactions after the first 2 phases, I stop there.

isnt that a little too much exposure?

For me I end with replacing the selected card "face-up" into the deck
and bring it second to the top. Then do the ego-change.

Similarly to doublelifter, i would end it with the selected card being the only faced up card.
