A very good video you have found, blacktiger.

The breakdown of the moves in the video, (there are some which I don't really know, so people please help too)

One Handed Turnover Pass: ???

A Pass: On the Pass DVD

Palming: *duh...get Royal Road to Card Magic

Top Change Cover Pass: ???

Cardini Change: Card Manipulations by Jean Hugard

Faux Hurricane Change: ???

Palm: It looks like this is a quick palm with the deck facing upwards, thus causing a color change during that instance.

A Muck: Weapon of a Card Shark or Daryl's Encylopedia of Card Sleights

Hope these help a little

^_^

If you haven't seen these moves before tiger, you are much better off starting from the basic card sleights before you try these.

I like the faux hurricane change. But just not the part where the hand goes out of frame. But then knowing the works of the real hurricane change and having seen performed in the movie "Shade", I prefer the original.

The top card cover pass is not framed properly. I think it is thought in one of Gregory Wilson's vids.

Turnover passes are covered in Ellusionist's Ninja 2 DVD

The pass that you saw is a modified handling. Not in "On the pass" by Peter Cassford. I have no idea where it came from. Not nice IMO

The palm technique looks very Vernon styled. For Vernon's Top Palm, you can find it in "Inner Card Trilogy" by Lewis Ganson from any SMC dealer.

As for the rest, you can refer to bigbadwolf's post.

After all, I agree with Aloy that if you have never ever seen these moves before, stick to basic card sleights.

Nice video we got here.

First of all, its very clean moves, so blacktiger, if u dun know what the heck those moves are, u better drop all ur way back to DL.. Nah, jus kidding. But i still agree with wat aloy says.

The first move is a turnover pass, juz a basic pass, and he actually break down 2 decks to show this move, quite an exposure alreadi. :P

Second move is a pass, but this pass is very different from the normal classic pass. Any name for it? I look at it as a drop pass(The top part is drop onto the deck to create the pass) Sweet move though.

Third Move is palm, the intial palm is good, but when he rest his hand, its expose, i think he do it on purpose, the reveal was also very lazy shown.

Fourth move, my fav set, the top cover pass and the cardini change. The cover pass is one of the varations of classic pass, but the cardini change, its sweet. Will take a while to master it.

The hurricane change, fifth move, another hard move like the cardini change.

Sixth move, the palm, i think its not juz a normal palm, hmm, more of a push off palm.

Seventh move, muck, not well done, cause its suppose to be the same place as the intial card, not all over the place.

Okie, i not an expert to say that i am better than him, juz that having a basic knowledge of card sleights will make u understand those moves better. And ah, further inspire u to learn. But lets get real, moves like hurricane, cardini, and the pass, need heavy misdirection to get through, cause the video is shoot directly from the top, it looks very clean. :)

My opinion, please dun burn me to hell. :P

Actually after watching it 2nd time using a bigger screen. I dun think its that good.

Alot of exposure.

I wont mention any. Most of the moves could be learnt in royal road, and also darrly's encyo of card sleights.
