Hello everyone! I'm organizing a dinner/jamming session on the 28th may at one of the steamboat restaurants at marina bay. After that we could either proceed to the beach or just stay around that area.

The objective of this session is for the newbies in the forum to get to know more of each other through dinner


Time: 7pm-10pm
Date: 28 May, Sunday
Venue: Marina bay - Steamboat restaurant (Chong pang)
Purpose : Dinner and Slacking

We will be meeting at 6.30pm at marina bay mrt. In any case this will also be the collection of money for the t-shirts.
Those whom have ordered can choose to join us for dinner or just pass me the money and go.
For those who cant make it this time round , dont worry , i'll organize one more collection date at a later time. Thanks.

How much is the dinner gonna be?

Is it the Seafood one? Must take bus from Marina Bay MRT.. If its that one, its..

$12 per adult, Steamboat + Hot Plate + Buffet. Very cheap, and fun, and yummy.. :P

Is the place Halal?

mayb can make 2 tables, one halal, one non.

overall, there are pork in the menu.

From what i know, there aren't any Halal Steamboat + Hot Plate + Buffet At Marina, my friend who was going oversea, we tried to throw him a farewell party. We chose Marina and found no Halal Steamboat + Hot Plate + Buffet, so in the end they chose other restuarant.

Maybe you could ask Lukold to check it for you personally ?

Halal is not about got pork or not pork, is about how the food is dealt with, as in the chicken, the beef and etc.

Yeah. Basically seafood need not be halal because it's halal automatically. If there's no pork I don't mind eating there. I'l just gulp down seafood. :D
