Title: Stigmata (wh's Version)
Description: Can you really do it impromptu w/o cards

I don't know whether is it really appropriate to post something like this, but I just had a few questions in mind.

I know how to do Banachek's version of stigmata from his PSI series. But after watching a preview of Wayne Houchin's version, I was quite curious to know how can he do it with just a thought-of name or number?

I mean it's one thing to F**** a card but how do you do it with names?

And can you really F**** a number?

Anyway, if my post is really asking for too much information, please let me know. Don't want to break any rules here.

Not just cards and names.

You can make anything the spectator thinks of appear on your arm!!

But you must have the correct technique first.

WH only teaches the technique of the "thought" appearance on the arm. He teaches his versions on cards, names and thought of number.

As for ANYTHING, there are great books in the market teaching you on how to do that.

Doing a number version of Stigmata is a bold routine. There are a number of materials on these techniques. Mainly Banachek's ^_^

I've tried 4 times..and already fail twice. -_- But even if u fail, there is alway an out to it. :)

Well, there ARE ways to get the thought of numbers/names/others, but i would'nt say it's 100% magical like you expected.
I think stigmata's one of the best revalation method around, thou it hugely depends on your skin colour and your skin's reaction to scarring.

That should not be a problem ,when I first started out Stigmata, I was skeptical to perform it due to my tanned skin colour. After a while, I found out I was able to do it without having problems with the colour of my skin. I have to agree with you the Stigmata is one of the best revalation method now.

Aside point, but I personally feel that Stigmata depends more on your presentation then the actual effect itself - whether it's cards, numbers, names, the identity of Jack the Ripper etc.

Case in point, I recently performed this for a group of friends of mine (with a f***** card) and they were just "ok yea, yea" and managed to get the secret almost immediately (we were a little drunk and I hang around a lot of sado-masochist people, so they were already familiar with the concept).

I realised my fault laid in how I just went through the motions (I was drunk!! <--- excuse) without much patter or presentation so the effect was so-so. The way Banachek does it at least (and that's the only version I'm familiar with) had a build-up and appropriate patter while I just went, "Here choose a card. Ok hold my hand. Now look at my hand. Do I rock or what?"

Well at least my story ended happy cos another friend started talking about the ashes in palm trick he sees on TV all the time, and though the bunch of us were sitting around this small table, I managed to set-up without anyone seeing as the guy was talking. At the end of it he expectedly asked if I know that one. I put on my game face, went, "Well I don't know. It's hard to do and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't because it really depends on whether the person has a connection with you or not... blah blah blah... can you hold out your hands like this... no higher... blah blah". When it was well and done, there was a collective silence for about 10 seconds with the guy staring intently at the ash on his palm.

I never felt more macho in my life... :off:

For the dark tanned, you can try doing it on your palm, the skin tone on our palm is lighter.
