I just got back from Taipei last week.

There is one magic shop at Jiu Fen but he mainly sells loads of decks (at expensive prices), some VCDs about normal card tricks, 10 in 1 VCD i think for 300NT.

None of the tricks he is offering are original and they the gimmicks seem to be created by himself (no bicycle backs for the gimmicks).

you wont miss the shop as its near where you alight should you go there by bus. Its near the toilets. You can practically hear his constant advertising of his magic shop via the use of a recording. Take a Jie Yun to Ruei Fang Station (Not Ji Long as its an hour's ride from there to Jiu Fen) and from there cross the road to take the bus going to Jiu Fen.

And when you are there, try out their Fishballs. Yummy ^_^ and Tai Yang Bin.

Have fun and you will definitely put on weight when you come back! Sadly for me, one of the days was wasted due to the effects of Typhoon Chanchu
