Welcome to SMC. I'm rather new here myself. See that you prefer to do coin and rubberbands. Thats good. What Rubberband tricks can you perform? Crazyman's Handcuff?

As for carrying around a deck, I suggest you find your style of magic. I carry around a deck myself as well but If you feel that cards are not your cup of tea then find the style that best suits you. There are still a lot of great material out there to mesmerise your audience. Have fun here... ^_^
