When will you be arriving in SG? We would love to have a chance to meet up with you. Our meetings are rather ad hoc so it would very much depends on when you going to be in town for the magic activities.

On top of that, there are IBM and SAM branchs in Singapore which you might wanna attend too. There are quite a few of the forumites here who are from these clubs and I'm sure they'd be happy to bring you to their meetings too.

Let us know when you will be arriving and where you'd be staying at and let's see what we can cook up. :)

Thanks all for the offers of hospitality. I'll be getting to town on 7/28 and staying in an apartment some place. It looks like I'll be able to make one or two of the IBM meetings and looking forward to meeting you otherwise. In the mean time I'll keep an eye on this forum and toss in a pithy comment every so often.

My trip to SG is a few days away and I wanted to comment on how impressed I've been over the past few weeks from the knowledge and attitude of people who participate in this forum. While my two months in your city (country?) have a "real" purpose, it looks like I'll have lots of magic stuff to do as well. So far it's one lecture, two shows, a club meeting or two, a tee shirt pickup, and $5 tequila shots all night. And that's just a start!

OK, maybe I can do w/o the $5 shots. I have nothing against tequila but would be concerned about any of it that's sold at that price. You have to figure that tequila at that price is probably more worm than beverage. (This is especially bothersome because it's not supposed to have any!)

I'll be leaving Singapore tonight and the time has come to say goodby. During my few weeks here I have had a chance to meet many of you and want to express my gratitude for your hospitality and admiration for your skill and dedication.
