Title: The Harada Hold
Description: coin vanish

hi guys,

Just wondering whether any of u ever heard of the harada hold. Its a coin vanish, in fact its a special coin hold which is invisible to the spec, making it appear as if it's gone.

I cant find it in murphy's but one of the online magic shops has it, Stevens Magic Emporium.

Any of u have it, i would like to ask some questions abt the difficulty, handling, etc.

Thanks ^_^

Two words:

Not practical.

This vanish is just overhyped.. Think Melt, Gone and others that have come before.

Watched my friend's one. Stick to the more conventional sleights - they're more reliable. haha..

if i am not wrong, its called haruda hold not harada hold. It may seem impractical, but i think it is a really good utility move. i been using it for awhile. I tend to use it more to prove that i dun have any coin in my hands. Its especially useful when performed to ppl who are seated down. They are selling it more as a vanish, but i dun think this move should be used as a vanish. It should be used as a convincer. If u know what i mean

It's in the category of moves that look great on video or perfect to show other magicians. A good retention of vision vanish and a ditch or sleeve will be more magical to a real audience IMO.

Very good video. Are all the vanishes using the Harada hold? I also noticed you an Indonesian coin hehehe ;)
