I would suggest doing a proper introduction of yourself first as well as read through the forums. I can safely say the answer to your questions are already out there, it's just that the laziness keeps you from searching :)

Hmmm.. you said you are into fork bending but you don't seem to know anything about it.
I would suggest you go start somewhere first (from Dvds or magic shops), then you will know what to ask for.
Anyway, why not start with cards or mentalism first? They are easier. PK(psychokinesis, the "scientific term" for fork and spoon bending) requires plenty of misdirection, guts and practice to pull it off. Even for me, I still do not have enough confidence to do a full PK routine.

Hello and welcome to SMC!
I hope I'm not speaking out of turn, but this is something I feel very strongly about and so don't take offence with my words yea?
I personally would advice you to NOT start with metal bending but start with simpler things like self-working card tricks, coins, rope etc. The reason is you want to build up your confidence and skills on the stage. It's hard enough to perform in front of people (unless you're a natural ) especially if you have never done it before.
Plus something like metal bending is heavily (and I mean HEAVILY) dependent on misdirection and presentation. These things are honed through experience so it'll help you a lot if you already have some experience under your belt.
And you must recognise that metal bending (mentalism in general) is in a totally different field from "normal" magic. To make it convincing and entertaining, you need a persona, you need to create an atmosphere that will allow for these effects to be passed off as genuine. Otherwise what you think is amazing will only be received in a lukewarm manner.
That said, metal bending is (evidently) extremely powerful and if you do it very well, you'll be huge. You can even start your own cult . Look at Uri Gellar.
(Just realised what I wrote above is basically what muscleaxl said... <_< Ha... Sorry.)

Ok that was quick... And erm Aloy, did you increase the font size of the message "If you haven't done so, please read the forum rules at the Rules, Policies and FAQs Section." by like 20 times? :P Well at least everyone will know to read the rules first now.
