Actually i think both of them are the same....Just like WPK and IPK they are about the same...but @ my POV i think that dlite would be better since it had been around for quite some time...I have a dlite which is like 2 years old and it still works perfectly fine haha....

If i'm not wrong, finger fazers actually came out first. I generally don't like them because of their handling... i always felt dlites are way easier to use, which makes you more confident while performing IMHO.

While both effects are similar- appearing/ disappearing/ moving bright lights... Finger fazers do not look like dlites at all, so not directly the same as the example of the 2 diff brand of rings mentioned

Personally, if you're thinking of getting either- buy a dlite. It'd be a better investment because Rocco has made a whole variety of them so it's easier for you to add more to your repertoire too in future if you want to.

Cheers,
Ning ^_^

I feel that these effects are great on stage (I first saw it on TV, and it was simply magical) but not for most other situations. Too many people are doing it, and when its done in non-stage situations, the light just looks too "fake".

I agree with Ning that while the effects are similar, D'lites are easier to handle (although for me, its still quite inconsistent).

The finger fazers effect was first to be performed, although I believe D'lite was marketed before it.

Thanks for your advice.. haha i guess i would just stick to D'lite. haha

Yeah. If you ever see how a Finger Fazer looks like, i think you'll REALLY stick to Rocco's Dlites  Trust me!!!

If you've seen Jay Scott Berry performed the finger fazers, I think you'll say it looks better than D'lite. With finger fazers, you can toss the light from hand to hand visibly. You can also swirl it in a wine glass.

Anyway, D'lite is easier to handle and can be performed almost everywhere.

The key part of this is that it was Jay doing the handling. D'lites are much easier to work with and even with those you can create the inpression that light is being tossed between hands. Besides, even when the D'lite fails you still have a handy gimick for other things.

OTOH, if you drop your car keys in a dark alley...

Jay Scott Berry is magician I respect... but i still honestly think finger fazers are not as convinent to use as compared to dlites... I always suggest people interested in them to get a pair so they can do so much more in their performances ^_^

LOL... good idea with the handy torchlight on thumbs, mgshn!
