Title: Fickle Fire
Lefty - July 2, 2006 06:43 PM (GMT)
Hi everyone, recently very into fire magic and planning my proper initial show...
Anyone with experience on fickle fire?
Can i be pass from hand to hand?
E.g... when the fire from left palm passes to right palm, will the left palm flame goes off by itself?
Can it ignite by itself? Because it is mention in the description that you can take the flame out from a pocket...
Is the gimmick big?
"A silk is then introduced, and the flames DANCE around the handkerchief, leaving it completely unharmed! As mysteriously as the flames combusted from within the performer's palms, they mysteriously vanish, leaving no trace or proof that they were ever there... "
This is mention in the intro, so can it really like dance around the handkerchief?
Sorry to ask so much about it, because i dont want to waste money buying something that i over expected it to be.
And also it is not cheap ar..
Thanks for your help... :g:

Well, what are you expecting it to be?
The Fickle Fire set from Magicmania comes in a palm-sized pair, flames can be completely maipulated by you. So yeah, u can produce fire at any moment from one hand, both hands, flames in a hat, flames that hop back and forth between both hands, and perform a flames into silk routine!
Murphysmagic.com has this but if you have the moolah, honestly, the Kikuchi one is a much better version (not from murphys)... also, the jap version is much more expensive (duh).
Oh yeah, you produce the flames directly from your hands... so no need for matches Lefty ;)

For the past few years, the Kikuchi's version is very hard to come by now, so you'd be very lucky to get an original set that works well but i'm sure they'd make a hole in your pocket :ph43r:
...And in case you didn't already know, besides Fickle Fire, there's Dave Powell's
Omega Fire too... which pretty much does the same thing ;) Some people prefer it to Fickle Fire... do your research before making up your mind on what to add to your arsenal ^_^ Don't waste money on stuff you won't use!!!
