This ward-winning magician is also selling his Parasol Box Set ...which comes with 7 different parasols of different color combinations. You may find this clip useful...

Wow.. Parasol magic. Cool. Too bad the parasols are so ugly. They look like those cheapo type that will break under heavy rain.

Magicdow - July 3, 2006 05:23 AM (GMT)
Fukai is famous for his umbrella act.

The design of the parasols is the standard. They look good too me.

Yes!!! Fukai's parasol production is really sweet :) Those who saw his live performance at IF Magic (can't wait for the next one!!!) would remember ^_^ The parasols used are usually very standard one la... i personally wouldn't recommend really using them if you're going for a walk in the rain  ...hee...

LOL... yeah, actually... i'm still going for theraphy. Now and then, they still give me the electric touch... i mean, electric shock treatment... to influence me to do the usual girlie shopping craze for regular stuff like bags, shoes, OMG... clothes, etc :ph43r:

I'm an addict!!!

cyngapore - July 16, 2006 08:15 AM (GMT)
Yup they are. I own the parasol set that was mentioned by her. Its quite an impressive piece of equipment for the price that we are actually paying for.

The Parasol Anywhere DVD and parasol set is extremely good for both price and quality. The only downside of these is the fact that they do not come with holders/locks for the umbrella when you have them sleeved/hidden. On the DVD Lam uses a holder/lock for the parasol but I don't remember him ever teaching how to make one but it is easy to figure out. You can NOT get such an assortment of parasols for the rock bottom price of $70 which they are charging. Usually parasol sets are in the hundreds price range. I highly recommend the Parasol Anywhere DVD and parasol set.

I owned a company in Germany called 'the magic hands' for a while and we made the first Umbrella Production from Silks. We sold hundreds in Europe, USA and Japan. They used the only production umbrellas that were available at that time which were made in Japan.
Since we sell the Lam DVD and the boxed parasol set here now I am happy to say that the Parasol's supplied in the boxed set come very close in Quality to the Japanese umbrellas. At roughly $10 each the parasols in the Lam boxed set are a real bargain..........

Hmmm.... I saw this vid on umbrella production and well, realli recommend it.
but not really sure where to get it.

But i feel it is much more presentable compared to the normal parasols.. Youtube.

Getting those sets probably cost you a bomb. But it all depends whether you are working in a modern theme or a more chinese/japanese take.
