Oooh!!! This is from the CUTE korean guy who performed at IF Magic! LOL  Nice effect... great for girls, if you know what i mean ;) Heh...

GordonLi - July 3, 2006 04:16 PM (GMT)
Oooh, that effect seems really fun! (:

bigbadwolf - July 3, 2006 04:22 PM (GMT)
nice

Aloy - July 4, 2006 01:08 AM (GMT)
A little off topic, but did you guys notice his DL? It's SCARY....

Anyways, I think this is a very fun and cute effect. :g:
Even better than Cyril's Kiss (chocolate) effect.

I love effects like that, multiple climaxes, with "built-in" misdirections.
I wanna get one................................

Ning - July 4, 2006 05:09 AM (GMT)
...But who will you perform it to? <_<

Markiebeth - July 4, 2006 06:06 AM (GMT)
Isn't that so obvious? To every lady at work or in the pub or at libraries or coffee places, who else?

LarryDK - July 4, 2006 06:49 AM (GMT)
Crazy DL. Are you sure its a DL? Haha!!

But it sure is a woman's charmer effect. :)

jeromefang - July 4, 2006 08:29 AM (GMT)
Bravo to the effect. Makes you feel, Ohhh...how romantic

How can the lady not fall for you with this ^_^ It's gonna be a babe magnet and will definitely SEAL your fate

Ya Aloy, who are you intending to perform it to? Haha...or are you planning to give Ning a great little surprise ^_^

DL? Oh ya you're right. I had to watch again to notice it :P Could see that he held a P**** B**** but who will mind when you've just scored a 100 marks in the hearts of your spectator. This will definitely go into my Must Get list for the year

yong_tianadeline - July 4, 2006 09:19 AM (GMT)
Sweet!! Nice one.
Sure to melt girls' heart.
You would have to buy lots and lots of flowers if you get this trick... :P

A. ^_^

dtjk - July 4, 2006 09:40 AM (GMT)
A couple of questions, is the rose gimmick? It says in the trick that a rose is included in the package, so I was wondering if the rose that is produced is gimmick, as for these kind of tricks, the rose is usually given out to the spectator as a gift.. Wouldnt wanna give out a gimmick rose yea? :P

Also, is long sleeves required?

Oh, and I love that guy, the way he misdirects and the perfect coordination with the music.

Err....to my mom of course.... Don't listen to Markibeth....

DTJK, i dun have the item but from what I can see, you don't need long sleeves for this.
And i'm not sure if the rose is gimmicked, but I'm quite sure it's possible to do this with a real (short stemmed) rose with some practise. Although a fake rose would be easier to handle obviously.

His hair is very distracting. I guess he uses it for misdirection.

If you guys like Rose Magic, I highly recommend Rose Magic By Monty. It's a videotape (not sure if they converted it to DVD) and it's very very good.

Right. It better be so... <_< <_< <_<

Anyways!

Markiebeth has the Rose Magic DVD... he got it from me a year ago, i think it's not bad, it's quite comprehensive ^_^ But for romantic rose levitation... most people still like Kevin James' floating rose effect... yeah, the same one David Copperfield did a long time back.

Getting back on topic... i'm not sure if the rose is gimmicked, my guess is that it's just an artificial one to complete the set, something you can practise with along with the instructions. But pls do a switch to a real one (be gentle- the petals are soft and fragile!) if you perform with it. I believed the one he used is a real rose, he just cut the stem short.

Giving the gimmick way is besides the point  Trust me... Girls HATE artificial fake flowers! Never ever give plastic flowers away to women, even your mom...

...More so if you're a magician with a 'cassonova' attitude :ph43r:

With a artificial rose, you can say, "My love for you will last like this flower which will live forever.. "

However, with a real rose, you cant. Unless you're intending to say bye bye in like 5 days or so. :P

..................... That is NOT the way lor :ph43r: :ph43r: :ph43r:

Unless you want your special friend/ date/ girlfriend/ wife to bear an eternal grudge against you (erm... hell hath no fury like a woman scorned???) :g:

LarryDK - July 4, 2006 03:38 PM (GMT)
For the real rose, u can say this: "My love for you is as true as this rose, even though it will die off in a few days time, the essense of it will still be with you, juz like my love to you."

Winder - July 5, 2006 12:44 AM (GMT)
Larry, you are a true cassonova.

Hahaha nice one Larry, a true cassonova i must say, that was a good line and i believe everyone will be using it next time.

Anyway back to topic:

From his performance, you can see that he actually put alot of effort to practice and to actually choose the music suitable for his acts. I must say that this is a nice effect and the girls will find it cute, and the guys will be like $@#$@#$. B)
