Title: Visi-bill And Juan Hundred Dollar Bill Change
blacktiger - July 6, 2006 11:42 AM (GMT)
hmm.. whats the differences between this 2 products? Which one is better in terms of angles and clean up?

Visibill requires the bill to be folded. Unlike conventional bill switches, the bill is folded into quarters instead of eighths. It's a one handed bill change that happens at the finger tips.
Juan 100 dollar bill switch does not require the bill to be folded. The entire bill is visible to the audience during the change. You use both hands to accomplish the change.
Both changes are visual and the clean up is equally easy.

Do i have to use US currencies? Will different currencies affect the performance?

Don't have to. Different curriences will work.
Usage of different currencies is actually taught on the Juan 100 dollar bill switch DVD.

Sorry to bring up this thread again, but I just thought I might as well put up some of my thoughts on the change.
First up, i am a teeny-weeny bit disappointed that it requires a gimmick. I'm all for visual magic, but having a gimmick to achieve the change is a little disappointing.
That said, I believe the change can still be done without a gimmick and I'm currently working on that myself. Has anyone else here tried doing it without the gimmick?

You can actually do either switch w/o a gimmick but, why?
The key difference with Visi-Bill is that the transition occures while you are waving the folded bill. The perception is that one bill morphs into the other. This is particularly strong in countries that use different color bills. (Hey, we can't be greatest in everything) The the apperance is that one color melts into the other.

Speaking about the VisiBill, I'm having a particular problem with the "Swoosh" move (owners of this DVD should know what I mean)
Can anybody help me out with this? PM me pls ^_^
Back to the topic,
Overall I feel the Visibill will be much easier to handle, the Juan Bill change is very visual (especially with our local currencies) but the Juan need a tad more practice than VB.
Just my $0.02 worth :g:

So the Juan change can be done without a gimmick?
It's a personal thing mgshn, but I just don't like having to have gimmicks in the magic that I do. I feel that it hits home much harder with the audience when you can just simply step up to them, with nothing on your hands (well, almost nothing) and do something simply amazing. Again, just a personal perference/style kinda thing.

Mmmmmm.. no gimmicks....., u just discard it, get what i mean, <_< breast pocket...... but i still prefer that prop better, but i kinna have a problem with juan hundred.
The problem is that i can't get my middle finger into the slip easilly and then how do you make it as if the change just happenned by blowing.
some of My audience say that i tu** the bill. How do you avoid it. well i do it at a great speed.
