Which of the stuffs in the video can be found? There are 9 parts in total in the link.

The effect is called "Improv Nightshades" and its available on The Art of Astonishment Vol 1 by Paul Harris. However, it only teaches the moving shades part. The imprint of the shades into the note as a Watermark is not taught. That effect is really :!!: Just like one of his video where he made the spectator's 4 of Hearts imprint inside the note as a Watermark. Its WICKED!

As far as I know, Part 4 and Part 7 is commerically available. Part 7 was performed before and its using a popular deck thats easily found. ^_^

 :!!: :!!:  the deck in part 7 looks so soo familiar!! :!!:
Interesting and creative way to use it though

And his handling of the deck is quite good too!

blacktiger - July 9, 2006 01:46 PM (GMT)
hmm.. then wat about the trick involving the sugar?

ming - July 9, 2006 04:10 PM (GMT)
Very creative use of a well known deck. Nice

blacktiger - July 10, 2006 11:52 AM (GMT)
Then wat about the rest of the parts? All cant be learnt? Regarding the improv nightshades, REAL marker ink is used?

LarryDK - July 10, 2006 02:41 PM (GMT)
Ah, alot of magicians, they have their signature magic effects.

Not all the effects u seen on TV could be learnt, they wont teach or sell.

GordonLi - July 10, 2006 04:00 PM (GMT)
Yes, just learn from their presentation and thinking.

That should help you to try and develop your own style of magic.

I agree. The kicker comes in when he poured the drink out. Really smart fella.

Hi Blacktiger,

Regarding the rest of the parts, many are underground effects and as mentioned by LarryDK, some are their signature effects which will not be marketed commercially. Just like Criss Angel's Walking on Water effect, I'm sure that will never be sold  As for the ink part in the Improv Nightshades, indeed Real Permenant Marker Ink is used. ^_^

bigbadwolf - July 16, 2006 03:14 PM (GMT)
Sometimes I wonder how am I going to get my hands on these underground stuffs. Again, if I can get it, its not that underground isn't it?

Haiz.. :(

blacktiger - July 18, 2006 02:07 PM (GMT)
Regarding the improv nightshades, can the note be examined IMMEDIATELY after the performance? Is there ani set ups or clean ups and is there any extra items needed, other than a marker and a note?
