Title: Exposure?

For bill switches, is it counted as exposure if u say TT is needed?

LarryDK - July 9, 2006 03:49 PM (GMT)
Not really.

If u expose the method on how the TT is applied to the bill switches, then it is exposure.

So if u think that someone will learn something other than experience, presentation or tips from ur post, then u might have to rewrite and reform ur writings.

If I can duplicate the effect just from your description of method, then it is exposure. If not, the general method can be revealed (usually to help others to know what to get). For example, in the case of bill switches, if I want to know if a certain marketted bill switch is good, and you review it, you may say if it is gimmicked, or if it requires similar sized bills, etc. Just use your discretion and common sense, the mods will definitely help out (:

So, its not really counted as exposure when someone says a TT is needed rite? Its onli the detailed explanation then its counted rite?

I don't really understand your question. I'll assume you just performed it to a layman.

If you perform it and tell the spec that you used a TT, that is exposure.

I would think so.

For the example you gave, generally yes. But for other situations, you have to look at them on a case by case basis. Sadly, there is no clear cut line drawn as to what is considered exposure and what isn't. But don't worry too much, everyone here is rather friendly, and will let you know if something is a little off. Just try to use your discretion, after a while on the forums, you would be more discerning anyway! (:
