Title: Fire Magic
Enchanted - July 10, 2006 03:57 PM (GMT)
I found 4 versions of fire magics .
1. Inviso Torch
2. Fickle Fire
3. Omega Fire
4. The igniter
5. Pyris
Which one of the 5 is better ? Inviso is much more affordable than the other 4 . So what do you guys think about it ?
Regards,
Alex

I personally would not recommend inviso torch.. Had it a year ago.. Refill is a little troublesome and too frequent.. i find it a bit risky when the flame shoots out.. i burnt my hands a couple of times..

It's very difficult to say which is 'better' because all of them are not exactly the same- except fickle fire & omega fire. Granted, these are all pyro effects but they are different in their own rights.
I'd recommend you do more reseach on the fire effects you're interested in and then plan which fits in your routine, or which is more your style. Lost? For instance, fickle/ omega fire is chiefly for stage... maybe parlor. Pyris on the other hand, is for close up. Jim Pace products... like the ignitor & invisio torch, may not be for everyone.
You can find some reviews here but ultimately, you got to either have a more skewed post asking specifics or do more research with what's already available online ;)

Pyris is a good closeup gimmick if u do not mind adding coins into ur routine. check out my avatar, tts pyris. good if u use it and then proceed onto a coin matrix, or vanish it, then reproduce the coin thru the flames! many possibilities, jus up to ur imagination to use it.

LOL... glad you enjoy it Ken! Very cool picture you have there *woot!*
Pyro effects make good openers, but you need to link them into the rest of the acts in your routine? For instance, the Jim Pace stuff you listed, they're good to use to produce something. Have you planned it out?
Hope this helps :)

Thanks! :D Pyris is something every closeup magician, who wants abit of flame in their routines, should have. Cheers to Nicolas Lepage for coming up with such an ingenious gimmick!
