yong_tianadeline - July 11, 2006 11:08 AM (GMT)
I just went to Carrefour at Suntec City and saw them selling Speed Stack.
Saw a video of children at a competition for speed stack.
The speed is incredible! Saw only a blur of cups!

Check out the website! :P Sport Stacking

This sport is part of the curriculum in the U.S and Canada.

Said to make use of both the left and right sides of the brain, plus co-ordinating both the brain and hands, making the child brilliant or something.

They have super fast speed stackers making into the world records. :!!:

As is the same for juggling!!!
Maybe Singapore should put juggling into PE curriculum. Or maybe a cca?? Would be fun!

The cups have been around for a few years already. I got my set about 3 years ago.

In Singapore there are 2 brands. The one sold in Suntec is the original.

Still gt counterfeit and original? ^_^

How much does one set cost? Maybe i'm getting one. :!!:

Is everyone getting it just to make use of your right or left brain for awhile? haha Or trying to get smarter by using left and right

Whoa! I didn't knew it has been around so long.
Thought it was relatively new in Singapore.
Anyways, the one i saw in Suntec was selling at around SGD 59 dollars!!
Expensive for me. Else i might have got myself one set too... :(

What is the diff between these cups and normal cups? the shape only?

Magicdow - July 12, 2006 07:56 AM (GMT)
These cups nest snugly. They have holes at the bottom to allow air to escape faster.

60 bucks for cups with a hole in the bottom.

EDIT: hmm.. I need a better smiley. should be something thats more "!"

Besides the cups, you get a nice mat with a digital counter and a instructional dvd. A good deal I'd say.

I paid about $90 for the same thing but my mat has no counter and it came with a vhs instead of dvd.
