Title: Copydex In Singapore

mgshn - July 12, 2006 06:46 PM (GMT)
Is copydex (e.g., http://www.ryman.co.uk/Copydex-Adhesive-wi...0625102293.asp) available in Singapore?

Thanks in advance,

Bob

Never heard of it before.

But if it's just some kinda adhesive, then there should be no lack of alternatives around i guess?

Thanks for the quick reply. You are right, there are alternatives and Rubber Cement is typically used. However this is much better for some applications and I was hoping it might be available in SG

Bob.

The link's broken but what you're looking for seems to be available at perhaps some art shops (Art Friend?) or hardware stores like Home Fix DIY :)

I actually saw this when I was in UK, but I didn't buy it.

Yeah, as Ning said, try art shops. Bras Basah has lots.

Yup... try Bras Basah Complex, located at 231 Bain Street.

I've included a map below, it should help... the place is just next to the national library ^_^ There's Art Friend and Popular Bookshop, and a whole lot of print shops.

You should be able to find what you're looking for in the complex :)

Cheers,
ning

Thanks Guys! This stuff is much better than Rubber Cement for preping some effects. I've been ordering it from the UK and thought I might be able to stock up while I'm in SG.

Ning, I'll give your place a try; It looks like an interesting area in any event.

BTW, the broken link was my fault, you need to remove the right parens and then everything works fine. http://www.ryman.co.uk/Copydex-Adhesive-wi...0625102293.asp It's nothing exciting, just a picture of a plastic bottle filled with glue :)

Regards,

Bob

Bras Brasah Complex is not a very fancy place, but I trust the 2 stores I mentioned should carry Copydex, or maybe something quite like that :) Good luck!
