Oh yea the trick... It was pleasant to watch and I adore Natalie Imbruglia to bits, but having seen Garcia's "Torn" trailer, I think you were maybe somewhat channeling him, down to the semi-pout at the end. Though if that is just you being you, well then... that's a good semi-pout. Yea.

Contrary to what has been said though, I think it didn't matter if the face was serious and it was a quick "bam bam bam" restoration. I mean heck, what were you going to do? Talk about your distant cousin twice removed who was a tailor and could patch things back up? I think this was meant to be done looking a little nonchalant, or downright bored.

That said I shall digress and say that T&R card tricks are well... strange. Maybe it's just me but I don't see a deeper meaning to it though. Maybe a T&R credit card...

Still, excellent execution as it is, from a layman's point of view that is.

Sometime i have to agree with mad that it will serve little possible that you can tear a card and then restore back. So maybe Torn is a side effect, it need some link to another effect inorder to reach the magical stage of the card being restored.

i guess that's pretty true. as an individual trick, it probably won't serve much purpose. after all, you will be tearing and restoring your own card. it's not like you're ripping up your spectator's money or something valueble to him/her.
