Title: Cheap China Gimmicks

magi81 - November 16, 2004 12:57 AM (GMT)
As above, anyone bought them before?
- those gimmicks which are packed in a small black box, which sells for a very cheap price... Not more than 4 dollars...

well, i bought those and found them to be a cheap "pirated" version of most gimmicks around in the market..;p
of course, with the price set at this level, the quality of the stuffs are usually not that good, but it's still useable...:)
just for info, i bought a bridged size stripper deck at cost of 2 dollars..haha..

Go Marina Square during the CNY u will find a few of such shops there.
Can get u a set of linking rings for like 10+.

hey where u get it??? izzit bicycle brand?

For linking rings, i think it would be better to get the original instead of the copied version. I heard that the China version is like so lousy that it spoils easily.

Its good to start wif if u can't afford a set of Owen Rings.
Or Joe Porper's one.

I have a fren using the cheap china ver for over a yr
It's good if ur on a tight budget.

Think this thread is going off-topic.
Its in card magic.
Some moderator shift it to dealers' review or general?

magi81 - November 16, 2004 04:10 AM (GMT)
Shifted. :)

Btw, it's not bike cards. (Obviously ^_^ )
haha..but rather some cheap harder-than-paper cards..
not bad as an overall...if you take the price into serious consideration..
ya, the rings are available too..definately cheap than 10 dollars, think i saw it at 6?

can't comment on the metal rings, but i feel unless you are arnold in disguise, you can't break the rings

btw, there are still lots of variety...
dices, TT, cards, and even sponge :)
