Title: Where Can I Buy Cheap Forks For Metal Bending
Description: Looking for shop selling cheap forks
wwdbs - July 31, 2006 11:45 PM (GMT)
I would like to buy cheap forks to practice metal bending.
I checked at IKEA. They only sell in sets and that too not very cheap.
Can someone recommend shops/places suitable forks can be bought for practicing.
Thanks

This has been discussed before. Anyway, if you try Pasar Malam, you'll be able to find cheap and suitable forks.

If your schooling you might be able to get some from your school canteen. Those are perfect!

Er... 'perfect' but not recommended unless you wanna kena detention!
Get Triangle Brand 301 range from your nearest pasar malam or hardware shops (those that have no signboards or like, forever got sale kind) they should have it.
They come in a bunch and are cheap! ;)
Happy bending...

Thanks for such quick responses.
Really appreciate that.
I must be doing something wrong here.
before I asked the question, I searched on following two keywords individually
fork and bending
I did not get back any thread that discussed where to get the forks.
Could someone point me how I can improve my search results in future.
Thanks again

Sometimes the search engine may not work very well, so just do it the cumbersome way... look at the past threads ;)

If you happened to stay near Ang Mo Kio, there's this shop beside the big s11 (which is beside Jubilee Cinema) selling all kinds of kitchen utensils. You can find very cheap and "suitable" forks for PK.
I got mine there as well.

buy them at Pasar malams. I just bought a whole bunch 2 weeks back at 30 cents a piece at the CCK pasar malam. Not sure if it is still there. should be gone by now.

| Er, suitable as in? |
If you're into metal bending, you should know what type of material you can and those that you cannot...

One thing to know about Pasar Malam 30cent forks though, they are good for practising moves, but you have to eventually practise on harder stuff. Some of the silverware at restaurants are almost impossible to bend.
If you really cannot find, just go to the kopi thiam under your flat and get some from the hawkers there. Bargain with them a bit la!
