Hi..

Did a combined stage act with Benny yesterday, mine was a very short opening act with dancing cane and ropes.. Just before Benny's linking rings..

Was my 1st time on stage.. SUPER NERVOUS!

Do give me comments on how I can improve.. Thanks! :D

Well done. You don't look nervous at all.

That was your first time? Well then let me tell you your hours of practice have paid off. You were confident about your delivery and i didn't see any nerves. Kudos to you, bro.

Thanks Guys.. Yea.. First time and hands were shaking.. Hm.. This first portion was well prepared.. But the second portion which was not recorded due to low memory space was pretty bad due to lack of preparation.. But it's good experience.. :) Thanks again and do give comments on how I can improve~

I think for ur floating wand, its best u wear strips shirt, to cover the gimmick better, cause its in the day, its easier to spot when the lighting is in favor of the audience. Juz my thoughts.

As for the ropes, hmm, no comments for that, good enough, juz that lack of impact and materials.

Smooth handling, great eye contact, brimming confidence...

How to make it better:
-Never have your back face the audience (which happened as you were taking the piece of rope)
-Do not sway too much (shifting your weight from one foot to the other)
-Do not pace around the stage aimlessly
-Perform the rope routine slower, emphasise the points where the magic happens to build the impact

As a matter of personal opinion, I would advise against performing the dancing cane (except on stage in a theatre).

On the whole, well done!

Good job. All well executed :)
I think there were some comments in the video during the dancing cane sequence about "..can see it...". Although the gimmick didn't show up on the video, i guess that's what it's referring to? But overall still pretty good.

Well done Baolong :) Good job indeed!

Agreed with the "back to audience thing", and the swaying from side to side. Grooving to the soundtrack maybe? ^_^ But otherwise really good.

Am I the only one who noticed how he co-ordinated the showing of the 3 ropes with the soundtrack around 0:57? And around 1:28, the way he draws his hand across the length of the ropes is again co-ordinately precisely with the soundtrack. And of course the bit from 1:30 to roughly 1:39 as well. Not to mention 1:44 when the knot dropped. Man I love that kind of co-ordinated, precision stuff! I'm sure a lot of effort went into the timing of those bits.

Or it's a case of serendipity. Either way THAT'S waaaay cool. B)

I'll definitely aim to improve on my next show! - If there's one! Haha~ Thanks again~ :)
