Has anyone read Genii magazine before? whoever has, please post a review of it.

i was looking for it but no shop Singapore carries it. anyone dealer here carries it? i might want to ship it in, anyone interested in getting any issue, could save on shipping. i heard the next issue has a dvd.

Genii is an outstanding magazine! Years ago it was published by the Larson family, and they had some challanges making their deadlines. Richard Kaufman bought it from them and since then has raised the standards of what once was a decent but erratic publication considerably. Now that they have Mike Close doing product reviews it can only get better. Also, if you start reading it, pay particular attention to Al Cohen's running commentary of his life as a magic dealer. I have it on good authority that one of the upcomming installments will discuss his foray into the online magic business and perhaps even his unsung webmaster will be mentioned. (Great guy, hope you get to meet him some day...)
