I'm also wondering if anyone has AntiGrav Levitation exclusive to hocus pocus. Anyone knows good this levitation really is? What are the pros and cons. USD$99.95 is a lot of $$.

I read it on the Penguin Forums that it is a custom made effect (something like the Criss Angel one) and it is done with socks
Just a quote from this guy
Yay, I just got it today. Here is the review for it The Anti-Grav Levitation.
It's a very clever invention, and not hard to perform. Can be performed surrounded too. Here are the pros and cons
Cons-
1. Takes a while to make
2. Only do it in socks, but looks cool in socks.
Pros-
1. Can be performed completly surrounded.
2. Easy to perform.
3. Go at least 5 inches into the air.
4. Only 100 sold (so far)

That is so creepy. Things are getting more and more weird. But since its surrounded, it defeated every gimmicked leviation.

But unlike the other levitations, you can't do it on the streets unless of course you want to lug the box everywhere you go.
Doing it surrounds does sound go though.
LarryDK - August 7, 2006 07:04 AM (GMT)
Ah, there is no box involved. I think you replied on the wrong thread.
I looked at the reviews and its seems very powerful, considering that you dont introduce that you can levitate, and do it suddenly, people won't inspect bottom of your foot.
joeltay81 - August 7, 2006 08:43 AM (GMT)
Opps, yea. I got confused with the box levitation.

But the sad thing is the auidence CANNOT look under your feet.. aww..

I ordered it quite a while now. I ordered 2, one for me and the other for my friend. Will give a review when I get the package. On the Magic Cafe they said Hocus Pocus had about 25 packages left. Im not sure how many they left now. :P

I speechless. There is no perfect magic in this world. All other levitations got their angle problem, and this one provides the nearest to perfect levitation surrounded.
And abt under your feet, all other levitations also cannot be seem from bottom.

Besides that (obviously)...
Any complains about this trick?
Would you recommend getting it?
Does this beat King or Balduci?

There're alot of complains about this effect in the Cafe, about the misleading and out-right lies ADs, a creator that offer no service even if you email him for help, and lies about his product.
Here's a couple of things I know, just to help you clear your doubts. ;) (As quoted from Hocus Pocus)
"Includes high quality gimmick"
Next thing you know, you have to get your tool-box and start spending a couple of hours building your own "high quality gimmick". Its self-made I think.
"Imagine walking up to a spectator, remove your shoes and with nothing around you, in nothing more than your socks, you are able to float off the ground up to a full 2.5 to 3 inches!"
Guess what, how cool is that you can remove your shoes and be in SHORT PANTS and with nothing around you, and float 3 inches? Or not.. here's what I read from unbiased reviews from consumers from the cafe, that you MUST take out your shoes and be in socks! You MUST do that, you can only do it with socks. With shoes, this illusion will not work. Why? Because everything is probably in the socks.
"No clothing restrictions! No shoes, no long pants!"
But is socks considered a clothing? I dont know..
Next thing you know, your socks will probably just stand up by its self 3 inches? And people call that levitate?
I'm not sure if this is the effect, but the creator Mike Parobec said that only 100pcs will be produced, and once the 100pcs is sold, this product will be faced-out. It was originally not on Hocus Pocus, but sold in the Cafe only. However, due to some reasons, perhaps he was selling well, he decided to release it to Hocus Pocus, as all he needed to disappoint is just 100 people, and he can earn his big bucks. Now, its probably on Hocus Pocus for good.

When will a really practical and good levitation come out? I'm waiting..
Maybe if someone here got the extra cash, and is really crazy about levitation, and has already ALL the other levitations in the market, can try this out. Otherwise.. I would suggest you to buy a mirror and start practising your Bulducci all over again.. :P

Save your money for Book of Wonder and Strong Magic Joel....
Don't wait it on this one yet....at least till somebody actually makes a video demo of it....
LarryDK - August 7, 2006 03:00 PM (GMT)
Ya, a video will serve justice for any comments we make.

AGL caused quite a riot in the Cafe & the thread reviewing it was deleted this morning  I wonder if the 2 guys here in SG who purchased it actually tried using it. Very unhappy owners are selling it dirt cheap on ebay right now :ph43r:
Ace - August 18, 2006 01:22 PM (GMT)
I guess that explains why we don't see any video of it...... <_<

This caused alot of uproar from the buyers. I still prefer to perform leviatations with shoes rather than socks to be honest. The perosn who released this was clever to state that there would be only 100 of those left. Because of it, there was a rush in getting them before they were faced out. This whole thing was probably a scam from the beggining. There was no video and no pictures of the levitation. Only descriptions of it, which later led to alot of unhappy customers. Well, the person who invented this walked away free with 10000 dollars in cash.
Well what I can see that this is kind of a scam. Although the "angle free thing" is cool, the unhappy customers seem to restrain people form getting it. So until someone actually releases a video, like every other levitation should, save your money.
