This was mentioned previously before. Magicians have their own signature effects and many of them are really underground effects which might never be sold commercially. I personally feel its good that some of these effects are kept underground as it preserves the true mystery, intrigue and astonishment of magic. Nonetheless, some of the effects he performed are indeed sold commercially. You'll just need to take the effort to source for it.

| It was kind of touching to see the Nepalese boy perform the rubberband trick in the end  |
I totally agree with you Zul. It was really touching and it goes to show how little efforts go a long way and how our magic can really touch the lives of people...

I don't think he does, nor does he need to considering the amount of money he earns. But on a more technical point of view, I believe most of the effects he did are not his own. And on a more economic view, he has nothing to gain from teaching them. Just my 5singapore cents...
Kazekage, thanks for the links man, you are now hardcore fan of cyril... Heehee..

Wow, is that rubber band-ring effect available...? Would be a nice effect to show to females... :D
Lamadude - August 22, 2006 04:46 PM (GMT)
if i am not wrong the rubber band trick is taught on magic with rubber band by dan harlan.

I don't think Cyril is that original, quite a no. of them can be traced to other similar effects. But rather, I think his strength lies in understanding and maximising the possibilities on the street.
