Has anyone bought this product? Is it any worth getting? Pls advice. What are the pros and cons of this skill?
The effect looks neat.
Prime Cut

hmm..if i'm not wrong, Prime Cut is done with a stack and the deck can only be cut in the performer's hand.
Phone on the other hand, is an old trick. I first learn it on David Blaine's Mysterious Stranger book. Very easy to do.
:off: By the way, which is the best Any Card At Any Number Effect (ACAAN)?
Preferably impromptu ones.

Prime Cut does use a stacked deck. (I'm not sure if i should say this.. Am i revealing anything? Hmm.. Hope not.. )
And let me say something about the demo video.. The smoothness of the magician giving the deck over for the spectator to cut.. IS EDITED. It's not as "smooth and cool" as shown. Even in the video you can see how unatural and jerky it will be when he demos it for real, full version.. It's cr*p i feel.
Phone is a decent trick, but i think you should be able to find it in old magic books.. It's based on a very cool and very old magic principle. (This principle still amazes me so very much everytime i think about it.) You can do alot of stuff with this principle too btw..
But overall.. I think a DvD for 2 tricks.. I'll give it a 4/10.

OK. Those two commented really feel like a trick I was taught without the name. How can they edit the part where the magician give out the deck? That is so deceptive. From the video, I thought that we don't even have to look at the cards.
I'm going to give this a miss. Thanks for the review guys.

Hi bigbadwolf, an impromptu version of ACAAN which I feel is good can be found in Daniel Garcia Project Vol.2. Its called C.A.A.N in his DVD. Alternatively, if you don't mind using gimmicks, you can check out Route 1 by David Forrest. A review was posted recently by our pro friend Logan here:
http://forums.singaporemagiccircle.com/ind...?showtopic=4669I personally recommend C.A.A.N by DG as all you need is a regular deck and your hands :P Hope this helps... ^_^

Thanks jeromefang, i will look into ROute 1. I've got David Forrest Encased, it was pretty good.
Hmm was there a CAAN in the DG project? I must take it out and give it another look. :P
Thanks ^_^
joeltay81: Ya..notice even in the EDITED demo, the performer was holding the spectator hand all along and the cut was somehow "guided". It will even be suspicious to a layman, but I like the Phone one, still it is not good enough for me to buy this DVD.
just my 2 cents ^_^
