Anyone has the juice?? Are the marks easy to spot, how many decks can u mark with the juice and izzit worth to buy it?
LarryDK - August 9, 2006 08:25 AM (GMT)
Its not easy to mark your own deck if you do not have the experience of marked deck.
Inital stage of learning to mark deck will make use of alot of juice, then slowly, as you learnt the way to look at your cards, you can decrease the amount of juice used and up to the stage that the audience also cannot see anything under special lightings or angles.
If i not wrong, there are 2 kinds of juices to mark deck, one is, u need glasses to see the cards, another one is, you need to look at the cards offset inorder for the mark to come out.
Hmm, i will strongly suggest you get a premarked one from the dealers. Its like split faces deck, its hard to do, but once you got it, like over 100 times, its easy to do le.

use glasses one sound like those in the GOd of Gamblers movies. but those that need to see it offset, isn't it visible to other people as well? (if they see it offset as well)
LarryDK - August 9, 2006 10:54 AM (GMT)
Even though they can see it offset, but it doesnt mean they can see the mark, because, you are the one that mark the deck, so technically, u are the one that came out with the reading system. Secondly, they must know that the deck is marked before they will reliese that they need to see it offset.

Errr, what is split faces deck? I cant seem to find information about it. And what do u all mean by ''see it offset''?
bigbadwolf - August 9, 2006 02:15 PM (GMT)
offset means creating a double vision??

Use glasses to spot the marks??? Sounds great, where can i get them?? I never heard of them before.. Can someone tell me where to get them, or anyone here owns that and can kindly explain more about it?
LarryDK - August 14, 2006 03:41 PM (GMT)
I doubt i can help further, i know things about juices, but i never thought of getting them because i never thought of using them, though i did read up on them. Hopefully you should PM the dealers to see if they could help you.
Its not just normal glasses, its kind of like a shade, so it will look weird if you are wearing shades in a room.

There are systems using contact lenses. These are use by card cheats and they don't come cheap.

They cost a bomb, unless you going to be the king of gambler, or else, i doubt anyone here will invest in them. :!!:

Juice marks are noticeable even on red backed bee decks. I'll admit that a spectator would not know what the markings mean but it is noticeable. It's not noticeable to the point where it's like a bright traffic light at night but for those who are a bit more observant, they will be able to see that there are distinct pink markings on the back of the cards.

kissdadookie is right :) Marking your deck yourself is better way to go. Use a subtle marking system or create your own! Juicing a deck can get messssy...

Actually when it comes to marking decks its actually a lot easier to just go get a marked deck.
The BWMD is a very good deck and to lay people you can even hand it out to them to inspect and shuffle and they don't even realise its a marked deck.
I've used it countless times and it works great for me so if u want you can check it out for yourself.
Sometimes i even use my BWMD to do normal routines even before incorprating its use as a marked deck to my advantage.
Hope this helps...
Cheers.

I personally use the Ultimate Marked Deck as the marks are much easier to discern yet they are perfectly undetectable by your spectators. When it comes to marked decks your two priorities (they are both equally important) should be how well they are hidden as well as how easy they are to read.

Hi fellows,
I am Cahyo Chan, from Indonesia.
Months ago I have few sets of the marked deck (now sold out), only can be seen using contact lense, the set incl.the juice (to mark your own deck), pre marked deck, softlense, and the clear clipboard to see thru the deck (for who they do not want to wear the softlense), just exatly like God of Gamblers movie.
I believe Magic Ring in KL still carry that item, you can contact him. The price is not expensive for that, Iam sure less than US$150.
Cheers,
CC
