hmm.. your question so vague. maybe you should tell us your budget. ok.. let me elaborate.... if you are a beginner, just play around with a cheap chinese linking ring set... about 60dollars for an 8piece 12" set. If you looking for a slightly better one, maybe can go for chinese alumninium m******* locking set which comes in 3s. It is very light! I think hank lee got these. Hank lee also got a few other sets.... There's one 8piece set which is about 150USD.... and there's another from prolink... i think it's around 250USD....

I also heard that UGM sells a pretty good 8 piece 10" set from Mikame.. about 300+SGD. This is what i am intending to buy when i save up enough. yupyup. THen again, Owens' set is the best!!! Haf fun!

Never Buy the $60 rings, Bao long and mine Broke just in 2 weeks time, not once, nor twice, THRICE!!!!

Recently both of us ordered our new ing set from Stevens Magic, US$85, hollow rings, 10 inch, really very solid, hard to find hollow rings at this price. :)

well, maybe my budget is below hundred. i just purchase the world greatest magic by the world's greatest magician (linking rings) and i would like to put that they taught into practice. i would want to get a cheap one frst but not one that breaks easily. but from what you guys said, i don't think i can get a good cheap one at that price. time to save up man...

For my case, i see myself performing linking ring in the future, thats why i buy a better set.

IF your routine is not very fierce like mine, you can try the cheaper set, the act that i learn is very very fast, thats why i need a rather stronger ring. :D

the cheap rings have lasted me for almost 7months already. So, if u are careful, and not do too much tossing and dropping, it will be fine. The cheap hollow rings is worth a try but i have the feeling that it produce a bad clinking sound. the more expensive ones rings like a bell. looks good, feels good, sounds good!
