Title: Magic Article

Ok. Lets talk about Motivation.
What is Motivation?
Motivation is the same as "reason" in ordinary English. Every action in Magic MUST, can I stress more, have a reason. For example, you cannot pick up a pack of cards from the table just to spot the bottom card of the pack. No no no, you'll NEVER see any professional magician do that. The usual reasoning to do this, would be to spread the cards on the table, or to shuffle the deck some more.
The reasoning for reasoning.
Why is there a need for Motivation? This is because without Motivation, your effects will lose their PUNCH! Imagine a magician picking up the deck and placing it down again for no apparent reason at all. Of course your audience will not be as amazed as they could be. Magicians like David Regal understand this, and they make sure that all the "moves" they do are thoroughly camouflouged. David Regal uses this psychology and does alot of his effects as he talks, and patters. It often changes a mediocre effect into a show stopper.
Thats all.
These pretty much explain my stand and give you examples. No use adding more crap to my article. That'll waste your time. So, have fun!
Oh ya. This is in the Competition. So vote for me.
