Aladin By Dominique Duvivier

With a few cards, you can accomplish amazing things! Take a small packet of cards and make them seem as if they are constantly changing without introducing any new cards to the packet! 4 ordinary cards become several different cards, four at a time. You must see it to believe it. From the mind of Dominique Duvivier, this effect will surely stun your audience.

***
THE REVIEW

What you get:
Specially made gaffed cards on air-cushion Bicycle stock for this series of visual color-changing effects.

What you need:

This packet trick requires some decent sleight of hand skills, so a good Elmsley count is needed to execute this properly.

What happens:
Impactful when done well, it is very visual with its multiple climaxes but it is honestly not something I’d recommend to beginners as this requires some sleight of hand skills that may not be easy to execute initially.

Full handling and instructions are provided by the creator but this may be considered lengthy and unclear to some, as it was translated directly from French. Amateur card workers may have to go through its directions a couple of times before being clear on its proper handling.

This is an unexaminable packet trick but it could be used in the middle of a routine if you own a ghost deck or use a regular red bicycle deck. I’d ay that this works very well for TV magic (read: Youtube!) as it is really dazzling to see the cards smoothly morph into a different array of colors… but it takes skill and effort to pull this off smoothly in real life unless you find a really nice local audience who aren’t your typical Singaporean hecklers *grin*

I performed this last week to a bunch of lay people and they could tell that the effect utilized gimmicked cards (yes, they were not a group of naïve aunties who believe in ‘magic stones’ and mediums unfortunately for me). However, they were a kindly bunch who enjoyed the entertainment and appreciated the sleights involved to make the visual change  The right patter works too! Perform this to people only if your audience management is good (and when you’ve practiced enough), because this is one trick you don’t want people to try grabbing from your hands!

Hi everyone ;)

Welcome to another informal 'competition' on SMC, brought to you by yours truly, Ning... of The Little Magic Shop (that's TLMS for short) *grin* This time around, one lucky winner gets to walk away with an original effect by french magician, Dominique Duvivier... yes, the famous cardician who owns the entire stock of Jerry Nuggets!

Now...

Props in all shapes and sizes are the tools of any working magician, though you may be proficient in sleight of hand, there would still be effects which requires a special something ;) Do share with us what your all time favorite close up packet trick/ prop/ trick deck/ etc. is and WHY, with examples of reactions from your audience or just a very memorable experience after performing it... the most entertaining submission in my opinion wins!!!

Though everything will be as clear and transparent as always, here's a couple of things to note:

1. One person is only entitled to only one entry, so do think about what you wanna write about!

2. Your entry has to be true, nothing fictional... please keep it real!

3. There's no word limit but don't submit a thesis... keep things fun and simple, if you've got any videos to link, it'd be pretty groovy too!

4. Nothing of bad tastes please... just in case anyone gets carried away. Heh.

5. All decisions and prizes final, no exchange for cash, yadda yadda :P

...Alright, all that being said, please post away! This is going to be just about a week long, with the closing date being midnight on Sunday, 3 September! :bg: So... what are you waiting for?!?! Start writing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yours truly,
Ning ^_^

Hey! seem like im the first to go. Hmm, i've been into magic for onli a very short while. Lets say, 3-4months? not very experienced in alot of things but realli enjoy performing the little stuff i do know to my friends.

Talking abt my favorite prop or trick, erm, i dont know if this will count, but i'll say one of my fav impromtu "prop" would be a slim long light stick(those tt you can bend and put ard ur wrist) or simply, a straw.

Was once at this concert where ultraviolet light was everywhere and everyone was given a light stick. I suddely asked my friend to watch n i "literally" pulled the light stick out of my nose! Everyone was stunned a moment(a 'lil grossed out too). Imagince, eyes wide, or having the "eeee" look.

Then while everyone was distracted back by the emcee, i was like "eh look!" and i appeared the light stick outta my nose again and my friend jus gave me a hugeass punch to my stomach n she carried on laughing while i was writhing in pain. Everyone was like "eh! how u do? how u do?" (not a shred of concern from the rest man!)

Did tt while i bought a drink another day with a friend n i walked off "without" a straw. She was "WHy u dun take straw?". OUt came straw from nose n i went "there it is!". You could almost see her jaw drop. Hee.

Amazing things we can do with little things! Hope this post counts? Hee.

Yours troooly,
Ken

Well, i give it a try then.

I will say my all time favorite effect is the!!!! BIDDLE TRICK!!! Well, it might seems a simple effect, but i have been performing it for the past few years, and i still loving it. This is based on a true story that give me a *grin* at the end of it.

I was entertaining a Dim Sum buffet at Habourfront, with a group of friends, because a few of them was having their birthdays at the same time. So after the meal, before everyone starts to leave, they asked me to do something. Well, I decided to do some effects then, to the birthday gals. My first effect is the standup triumph which i forget the name, and as usual, some guys out there will say, "I saw that, i saw that.." (But they can never explain, HAHA) The gals are impressed, so i sat down and go on with the ambitious with one of the gals, showing them how a card can appear in the top because of the signature, but i did a "screw-up" but used a shapeshifter to change it, causing the whole lots to go, "HOW YOU DO THAT?" But the guys still dun give up, they says: "He din put the card into the middle loh..."

Well, not my concern i went to my best effect ever, i walked over, and the guys gave me a challenge, as "We want your best one", I replied "You sure? You go crazy if i show you that" I proceed with it, The usual biddle effect, i explain each and every steps and showing them slowly,(I did it very slow, its brings the biddle effect higher) And one click, the card went missing, and the guys' eyes pop out, "WHAT THE HELL?" And with the card missing, i point to the deck and taking the deck, i spread the cards faced up, and ask the gal to name her card, and turning over, its of course her card, and their response, "WHAT THE F***?"

Haha, to me, it was priceless.. Cause they totally speechless and went together trying hard to find out, took my deck and ask is it a gimmick deck.. This is what i called, the more simple the effect, the greater the impact. It just kick them high up to the sky.

I use biddle trick very often because of its simplity in the effect result, making it easy to understand for youngs and olds. i also love it when i do for kids and though they dun know what poker is, asking them to rem the pic of the card, and the card appearing in the deck brings them smiles and claps for me.

All based on true stories. Biddle trick ROCKS!

My turn.. :)

Just a beginner, i don't really own a lot of packet tricks... However there is one packet that is ONE of my favorite. That's the 3-fry by Peter Egginks. (which i bought on SMC by the way.) I screwed up big-time during a IBM meeting the first time i did it, but the experience caused me to go back to rethink about the things inside and the later time i performed, it was terrific.

I was at the temple that night talking with some of the people around there (Guy A and gal A and B ) drinking tea. I was playing with the cards throughout so it wasn't long before the talk turned to the cards..
Guy A asked me to perform a magic effect for them, so after doing some simple stuff, i decided to show them 3-fry since it was 'just nice' considering that 3 volunteers was needed. :D

After getting the prediction cards out of the deck, i proceeded to ask them to pick a card each. They did and signed on the cards as i requested. Thereafter, the cards were returned to the deck. The cards were 'lost' in the deck and i asked them the standard question: "Wouldn't it be a miracle if the card i took out as prediction just now matches your cards?" ;)

The two gals laughed and agreed so whilst Guy A (still not believing in my 'abilities' ) said :" I would eat the cards if they really are THE cards." And so i agreed and turn over the cards...

AND HORROR... no idea why, but the cards were not THE CARDS. Guy A laughed of course and as my dad would put it, my face turn a shade of green. But then, the IBM experience had taught me much.. and i said something about the deck not behaving well and spreaded the cards. I P***ed the 3 cards off and turned back to the Guy A (who was still laughing by the way).

Me: " I know why the trick didn't work." ^_^
Guy A: " Of course! You're LOUSY!! *Guffaws*"
Me: *fuming but calm* Nope. That's cos YOU stole my cards!!"
Guy A: " What!!"
Me:" Yea. Its not in my deck..its in your bag."
Guy A:" Definitely impossible!! I will swallow your whole deck if it really is!"

Hence i proceed to open his bag, put my hand into his bag and take out the three signed cards one by one.

Of course, his expression was priceless --> :o -->
*thunderous applause from the gals* (at least, as thunderous as two gals can get)

Guy A still gets ribbing from Gal A and B about the swallowing of the deck. He always call me 'Magician Gal' now and I still am awaiting the day he fulfills his promise. :P

This of course taught me a LOT about preparing outs and being calm. Of course, i don't always screw up the trick though sometimes i might do it for the fun of it. :g:

Prediction has so much more effect if the cards are SIGNED cards.

That's my story about my favorite packet trick (albeit i did screw it up a bit)..

A. :g:

I decided to perform one of my favourite trick deck effects, Fadeout by Meir Yedid. It was one of my first trick decks, and till date, still on my favourite list.

It was a bunch of girls this time. After a couple of tricks that uses a normal deck, i.e colour changes and ambitious, I proceeded to take out the Fadeout deck after doing a trick that does not require any cards; a deck switch during intervals of routines. :g:

"Do you believe in hypnotism?"

"Uh, yes?"

"Alright, if any of you hear her bark or meow or chip later, please do not laugh and disrupt the hypnotism."

She picks a card, and I proceeded with the Fadeout routine. ^_^

"Okay, I'm now gonna hypnotise you, such that you'll forget every single card that you saw earlier, except for the one you picked."

Of course, I got the reactions I wanted when I revealed all the cards went blank except for the selection. Just at this very moment, this crazy b*tch was so CRAZY, that she practically pounced on my hands and grabbed the cards. I was shocked, but it happened too fast. I thought I was done for, and when I was about to scold the sh*t outta her, and she exclaimed, "Wah! Really blank leh! You see!" *show her friends*

If you know how Fadeout works, then you'll understand this part. This crazy girl grabbed a bunch of cards, and you've guessed it, she grabbed a pile of blank cards. (really blank!) To avoid exposure, you should get what I mean. :P Try to imagine and visualise the situation in your mind. Hehe.

Of course, I took advantage of the situation, and hand out a couple more cards (that are really blank) for examination. I was.. happy? Haha. Of course, that brought my magic up by a lot. The reactions were fantastic.

When will I have this kind of luck again..

(If I dont win this, I'll post another story of how I got boxed when I zapped someone with Electric Touch. MUhahahha! :!!: )

Thanks for reading!

-Donovan.

My favourite packet trick? The Web by Jim Pace. Works fantastic with girls but sometimes....

I was working and demonstrating my magic one day when a group of American sailors who were on holiday came by the shop.

Sailor 1 (the most macho one): Whoa guys check it out it's a magic shop, let's check out what cool stuff we can bring back with us.

*rest nods heads and makes lots of noise*

Me: Hey guys, do you believe in psychic abilities. I have this strange gift since young which allows me to move objects with my mind.

*proceeds with the Haunted Deck and moving their spectacles*

Sailors: Oh F***ng sh*t that ain't possible dude, you must be praying to the devil or something to be able to do that. Can you show us a card trick, ya know like David Blaine?

*sniggers*

I then chose Sailor 1 to be my volunteer and proceeded with The Web. So after the 'thing' was planted I proceeded with the whole routine whereby I showed the four blank cards slowly turning to cards infested with spider webs!

By now everyone was amazed because they clearly saw four blank cards right from the start. I then proceeded to 'wipe' the webs of each card till the last card is left.

Me: Hey Sir, why not you try wiping the web of the last card, trust me you can do it too.

Sailor 1: Yeah baby I'm sure I can do it. And big daddy me is gona do it pimpin' style. (turns over hand and extends fingers in what was supposed to be a 'cool' hand gesture)

I waited but he was a little slow but.....

Sailor 1: Oh damn mother f***ing holy crap sh*t dude. Someone get the bloody thing off me....EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEkkks.

Moral of the story? ---> Some people can sure pump irons, but all it takes is a plastic spider to pump them down. ;)

Ning - August 30, 2006 04:55 PM (GMT)
I don't know if I should be more amused by Mr. Macho Sailor being freaked out by the spider or him calling you 'baby' and using the words 'pimping' in the same line... Cute story Mark!

My fav prop? It would 100% be the moving pips!!

We were at the lucky plaza chicken rice store.....and my friends asked me to show them some magic.

I jus got my moving pips gimmick back then and could not wait to perform it.
My friend picked a card and it was the 7 of diamond.

"Ok now i have a envelope here....inside its a prediction..." i then took the card out of the envelope.

"Its a red card...." B)

"Yes" ;)

"Its a diamond..." B)

"Yup" -_-

"Its not a high card... its not a low card either...." B)

"OK..." <_<

"If i got this one wrong this meal is on me!!"

"Aiya u know the card already lor" <_<

"6 of diamond!!!!"

My friend was stunned for a moment then all my friends jus "EXPLODED!"
They r so happy that i screwed up the trick! -_- Plus they could enjoy free chicken rice! Or so they thought.... B)

I acted as though i really screwed up and was trying to figure out what went wrong with the trick. I'm really trying my best not to laugh!

All my friends were chanting " PAY THE BILL!" PAY THE BILL!"

"Wait... let me try this..."

I picked up the 6 of diamonds and started to shake it. Then the pips started MOVING!! All my friends went
"WA! WA! WA! WA!" 2nd EXPLOSION!!
The chicken rice store uncle plus a few customers were also watching the card as the pips of the 6D moved to form a 7D.

I did a shapeshifter to change the indexes then let them examine the card.

Reaction

Chicken rice store uncle :ph43r: : "Hey teach me lei! U know how to cheat at Dai Dee?"

2 female customer: Laughing and shaking their heads

Friend A  : "Wa this one is really the best trick u showed us..."

Friend B :ph43r: : " HOW U MOVE THE THING?! U didn’t even cover it...!"

Friend C: STILL CHECKING MY DECK....

Friend D :!!: : "Hey but u still got it wrong the first time so pay the bill!!"

I proceeded on to perform mercury to misdirect friend D from the bill thing. Plus a few gambling magic for uncle  I think i helped to attract some customers as well haha :P

This happened earlier this afternoon to my neighbour. Was trying out my latest (and probably one of my favourite mentalism tricks ever). not that funny, but priceless reaction. Actually I'm not sure if I should be posting this here, because after this, many people will be trying to get hold of the same trick. But here goes. It's a combination of K.E.N.T followed by Kolossal Killer. i have a feeling that after reading this, many will be hunting this trick down.(moderators: note that all the '...' in the following is essential in the presentation of the trick and not just because I am just using bad english)

Me: Many people think that all magicians have to handle cards because they have to secretly control cards to the top. Other use gaff cards for their tricks. Do you have a pack of cards?

Neighbour: (remove a pack of cards from his shelf).

Me: Take the cards out including the jokers and shuffle them. It is essential for you to listen to all my instructions carely. Pick any five cards from the deck and do not show it to me.

Neighbour: (draws five random cards, covers them and secretly peep at them).

Me: Now, take the best card and remember it. The biggest card... the smallest, the card that sticks out. Now concentrate on the card and do not change your mind.

(I stare hard at him and frowned a little).

Me: Now, I want you to think of the card you pick and think to yourself," king, king, king, king ,king.

neighbour: (Gave me a confused look) "King king king king king".

Me: No. I mean, whatever the card you choose, think of it and keep repeating it to yourself. Forget the suit for now.

Neighbour: ok.

Me: I get this fuzzy impression of the letter 'E'. The spelling of the word... the letter 'E'.

Neighbour: Smiles slightly.

Me: I see two of it... the letter next to it... I see a letter 'N'

Neighbour: Nods slightly.

Me: Your words is a short word isn't it?

Neighbour: Yea, it's sort of short.

Me: i might be wrong, but I have this really strong impression that you are thinking of the number TEN.

Neighbour: (Stun and Silent for a moment) What about the suit?

Me: It's a red card isn't it?

Neighbour: Yes.

Me: it's a diamond?

Neighbour: No.

Me: Perfect. Unknown to you, just before I came over from my house, I predicted that you would freely choose a hearts card. In my wallet, is a black envelope with my prediction.

(Proceeds to take out the black envelope from the wallet and flash an empty wallet containing only a few dollars and identification cards)

Me: (Open the envelope and remove a 9 of hearts) You see, before this, I predicted that you would draw the 9 of hearts. I was off by one, but still, you got to admit that it is really amazing to be able to predict a card out of a deck of 52 and come out off by only one.

Neighbour: Yea, that's quite good. (facial impression did not look impressed)

Me: But not only that. I predicted that you would freely choose the 10 of hearts and my prediction would off my one... so I made a few modifications. (hand the '9-hearts' card to him)

Neighbour: (flips the card over and was totally stun silent. At the back of the 9 OF HEARTS card is the words in dark printed letters), "OFF BY ONE"

(After 20 secs of silence)

Neighbour: can you predict other things?

Me: Why? Like the future?

Neighbour: Yea. About the future? (Now with a really serious look on his face)

Me: Why? You want me to read your future for you?

Neighbour: Yea. I really want to know about my future.

-----------------------------------------------------

At this point, I cracked out laughing and could not continue anymore. I wanted to try cold reading him, but his expression was one of total seriousness. He actually believed that I was a real psychic and from his expression, one could get the impression that he would willingly pay anything to hear me predict something about his future. For those who know me, at the end of my mentalist effects, I always explain to those I perform to that everything they are experiencing is just illusions and I am not a psychic. For this guy, I went away with the impression that he did not believe me even when I told him it was just tricks. Messed up his mind pretty bad.

That just made my day.

Alexander - September 1, 2006 03:51 PM (GMT)
Heres a short one.

Was performing Ultimate backflip years ago. And my patter was involving what kinda guy the 4 different girl would liked and the cards (kings) would turn over. So at the end of the trick, this girl went 'Can you predict my future husband?' And suddenly, the other 3 girls was like bombarding questions at me like 'Will my present boyfriend be my husband', 'How would my future husband be like'. Kinda annoying but it kinda tickled me.

If only i was a mentalist. B)

Joel, Yours is great. KENT effect by itself is alreadi a very strong effect, when its executed well. And with KK, It just like a double hit combo. Totally kill the audience.

But i can say that not all kind of audience will be a win win situation for such a combo, though it will still work, but the impact can be at 2 extremes. Personally i tried KENT without KK (Cause i dont have, and i dont bring wallet out) And it have 2 ends of extremes, but i also think that KK created more impact and is a good closer for KENT effect.

Wow, I never thought K.E.N.T will work. Someone tried it on my last time and it was pretty obvious to me.

After reading the Manuscript by John Manhood/Kenton, I tried it out a couple of times on lay people but it did not turn out as well.

That was quite sometime ago. Perhaps I'll work on the presentation a bit more and try it again sometime; now that I've know someone who did K.E.N.T and got positive reactions. Haha.

Looks like everyone is talking about cards. But 1 of my favourite all time is Hundy 500. But the transpo is from paper to $2 bill. :)

Due to my volunteer work, I'd get to interact with elderly in nursing homes many a times. So the expression and amazement of the elderly when they saw me perform the effect is really PRICELESS!! If u think those elderly have small eyes, think again, perform Hundy500 for them and u'll see their eye bAllOon!! :D

ok..i know i am the opposite..instead of "tricking" the cute little gals, I'm tricking the old grandmas.. :D and grandpas as well :P

But 1 memorable experience I remember was once I did Hundy500 for 1 of my volunteer event and these 2 secondary gals from initially thought I'm crazy and ran away (cuz i showed them the paper when they asked me to buy the stuff they're selling) to keep tagging along with me (as i walk around entertaining the others) when I transpo to the stack of $2 bills.. :P

So looks like I gotta make more $$ to compensate my not-good-looking face in order to attract gals now.. *sigh..*

Dominique Duvivier owns!

My favourite effect of all time must be Kundalini Card Rising Effect. Why? Come on, if you're a card worker won't it be amazing to see a card rise from the deck? If it's amazing to you, think about the laymen. And yeah performed with a borrowed deck and in the spectator's hands. Ain't that a such a tight *****. But more importantly, it's the reactions I yield. I ranked them and check them out below.

3rd:
The selected card rised out of the deck, my friend exclaimed "How come like got ghost like that?" :ph43r:

2nd:
I performed it at my club and one guy from the audience actually said "Chey, confirm use batteries one I bet"

1st:

I did this effect in school one day for the canteen vendor. So along were a couple of my friends and students. She was an auntie in probably like late thirties. A card was selected, lost in the pack. I handed her the deck and by magical supersonic waves, the card started rising. (Doing that effect in short :D ) ANyhow, it rose and everyone was impressed and amazed. They applauded and I beamed. I handed her the card and said "Is that your card madam?" almost with an air of arrogance.

She replied,

"What card?"

HarapanOng - September 3, 2006 04:46 AM (GMT)
I am not too sure whether this is asking about my favourite EFFECT or PACKET TRICK/GIMMICK. Because effect would be something like ACR or Triumph. But presuming that it is packet trick, I would say the packet trick I carry around in my wallet EVERY SINGLE DAY has to be Alex Elmsley's Four Card Trick.

Why? In case many of you do not know the effect, here's the description. 4 blank cards are shown, front and back. Suddenly, one of them turns into the queen of hearts, which then follows with a 4 card monte thingy, many stages of impossibilities AND the ending is simply the best kicker I have seen.

The reasons it is my favourite:

1. It is damn easy to do. It only requires one sleight to be done many times.

2. It is damn clean. You REALLY only have 4 cards. No gimmicks, you end TOTALLY clean.

3. It is damn visual. cards turning face up, face down, changing places; the audience would NEVER find the money queen.

To prevent this becoming an advertisement, here's an account of me performing this in China:

I was at a school Bicultural Exchange Programme with some students in Wenzhou, China. I did a show there (card magic ON STAGE, yes on stage) and it was great. Then many of them came over to my boarding school room to watch some more magic. Of course, being the card-ish guy I am, the topic soon moved to gambling games. One of them actually mentioned a game of finding the special card among 3 cards.

Of course, I took out this 4 cards and started doing a 4 card monte - only this time, they (mostly were girls) started reacting STRONGLY - one of the girls actually begged me to be her shi1 fu4 in magic (WTF?!) and most were just going like "ni3 shi4 zen3 me4 zuo4 de4?!?!?!?! tai4 shen2 qi2 le4..." Soon, I had this group of Chinese students in front of me either calling me "pai2 wang2" (card king) or "shi1 fu4" (master).

I never felt more like some card expert. WITH JUST 4 CARDS.

I don't know, maybe these Chinese students relate cards to gambling better, so their reactions came much stronger with such an effect.

This packet trick is in my wallet from then onwards. It's easy, it rocks, it's simple, and you can get people to call you their "shi1 fu4". And girls were saying that. What more could a man/teenage boy like me want?

P.S. I have done this effect in Las Vegas too, and one of them asked me to wear a beard, a moustache and go into a casino to win some money for him. It rocked.
P.S. Realise I perform a lot overseas? Haha.

K.E.N.T. requires a little practise on the platter as most of kenton tricks are. When done properly, it is totally undectable. I try to look for the spectator's reactions to my statements rather then to ask them questions. Even when asking questions, it should be phrases indirectly.

It is not absolutely foolproof but when it works, it totally scare the spectator out of his wits. Using KK with it is meant as a back up. If it does not end the way you want it, or you guess the wrong card, I ask him what his card is, then I smile and say perfect... and then go straight into KK. Don't say you made a mistake. Give him the impression at the end of the whole trick that you knew the card all along and was just playing with him. The spectator does not know you made a mistake. In fact, in the end, he will think that you deliberately guess the wrong card, then deliberately tease him further by guessing a card just one value short of what chose... and then finally predicting everything and showing that you knew the real card all along. I would then end by saying, "You thought you got me there didn't you" and smile.

If K.E.N.T. works perfectly the first time, they will be scared like crazy. (As I did to a psychiatrist I was chatting with last night) If it works, I would then use KK for a second trick; the one recommended by Kenton for KK and it double kills them.

Hm.. I'll give it a try~ Got my set of Ninja Rings lately and it has becoming one of my favourite close up gimmick to carry around.. Here was what happened last weekend while performing for this cute 11 year old boy at Forum Shopping Centre Toys R Us.. Can't recall his name though.. Will call him "Boy" then.. Haha..

Boy: *Looks around to see if there is a magic show

Me: Hi! Come over here~ Wanna check out something really amazing?

Boy: *Looks eager and nod his head..

After a little introduction of myself and getting to know him, I started a simple linking ring routine, similar to a ninja ring routine.. [By the way, I was promoting in Toys R Us @ the Fantasma booth]

1st link with single ring
Boy: *Eyes opened & gasped..

Me: Watch at the 2nd ring carefully alright? And don't blink~

2nd link with double ring
Boy: What?!

3rd link with double ring
Boy: Super Loud Gasp! HhhuuUhHH~!!! That's so cool~!

Then, followed on was the unlinking of rings one by one..

Me: You see.. Not only can this rings magically link together, it can come off if you just give a gentle blow~
*Boy Blows on the 1st ring

Unlinking of 1st ring
Me: That's the first one~
Boy: *Steps back, Super amazed look.

Unlinking of 2nd rings
Me: Wow.. That's the seco.... *Cut By Boy

Boy: I go find my mummy. *Walks off so hastily and so amazed that he goes to find mummy before I could even finish half of the trick!*

I stood there totally stunned myself! & ended up people around me watching the performace was laughing like mad dogs at the boy's reaction!

Haha. That's funny. You tormented this little boy! Don't you know that tramatized kids will grow up being more emotionally disturbed? Imagine if he develops a phobia for rings? (like how some people are afraid of wedding rings) Everytime he sees a ring now, he is reminded of you.

I like your story. If only everyone we perform to had that sort of reaction. It just makes performing so much more fun. I just experienced the worst heckler ever last night.

Yea.. It was fun.. Super unexpected reaction! Haha.. Worst heckler? My worst experiences were with sri lanka workers and local aunties.. Haha!
