I guess the title caught your attention. No, this is not an instructional DVD on Mask Changing. This is actually a story about a street performer who does Mask Changing.

The story is heart warming and I quite like it. The pace of the show is very slow and it is in Chinese. Though this is not a very well known film here, it has actually won 13 awards.

In the show, they actually show the mask (not worn on the face) but they didn't show how it was done.

I doubt you can find this DVD easily. I got it from the library. If you can, try to watch it. Recommended.

It is actually quite well known to the film buffs, especially those who like China films. I've seen it a couple of times. It's very very good.

I think my chinese teacher showed it to the class once.
it seems to have some hidden messages inside.. haha~
(there's some talk about the child's gender, where males are more important to pass on the family line or something)

not a bad watch, although i never got to see the whole thing. plus, the story was rather draggy, so the class got a little rowdy..
