For the 1st clip, doing an elmsley doesn't realy constitute to a trick. I mean..you show 4 face down cards, and 1 of the cards turn face up....and then?
And then what happens? Why do you use 4 cards with you are only going to turn 1 of the cards around? Then you should only use 1 card. What's the purpose of the other 3 cards?
Know what I mean? It's incomplete.

For the 2nd clip, it doesn't make any sense at all to me. You show 4 face up Aces, with a wave, one of the cards turn face down. But then you show it's not one of the 4 cards at all (a 2)?? That means you didn't really cause 1 of the cards to turn face down?? And then later the indifferent card turn back to an ace? So does the card change or does it turn face down? Because when it changed back it didn't turn face down again.
So where's the magic? That the ace become another card? Then how come it's faced down while the ace was face up?
And again, so what about the other 3 cards. Why you using 4 cards in the 1st place when your magic only involves 1 card? Again incomplete.

Learn to do things as a complete routine rather than a little bit here and there of routines. It's like telling jokes 1/2 way. Do you still consider that a joke?
I read in your intro that you don't like to practice your effects. Do you think maybe that's why you are only doing it in bits and pieces?
Don't bother running around soaking up secrets and methods like a sponge. Learn 1 routine, practise it well, and then move to the next.

I have to agree with Aloy about your 2 clips. Doesnt mean anything at all.

And the way you handle your cards, hmm have to practise more. Maybe its because of the video is jerky.

I guess what he is trying to show on hte second clip is that he make the ace turn face down and change it to another card, later restore back to all aces, this is the best a can understand form the video.

Sorry brother, 8 years.... i mean do you start turning it into a hobby recently? I am also into magic for 1 year, but i dont really understand the clip well.

A real piece of advice, get a better webcam. (Logitech's has some of the best webcam)

I can take criticism about having lousy equipments, outdated shooting methods, and even questionable relevance to modern days magics. But one thing that cannot be tolerated is a reputation for having bad community without much sense and support instead of replying junks..

Neway what I'm trying to show here is nothing but just a few way that these steps can be combine and used in routine.. You might know how and understand, but at that time which is like 2 yrs ago, I'm trying to show HOW these can be setup, of cause any talents here will be able to setup their own routine, this is optional and sharing.. Nothing abt "OH THIS IS WHAT I CAN DO"

Also, I'm doing it pretty weird cuz I'm trying to flimed it to my hp which was pretty lousy @ that time. I admit it's pretty awful to watch, and infact I hold that hp with my neck, it's shaky, I have hard controls over my fingers *I know lols I hate that quality too* but yes I did have better cam which was 5MP @ that time.. But is that really really needed for a 10 second clips? Maybe YES *Most SGREAN prefer QUALITY*, but it was just so sudden I decided to do it.

I will have a perfer routine done and upload it, but sooner or later if it's good *I mean IF* it will be all spread around, and it's no more a unique to find in a person. Before DavidC and DavidB was being revealed to most of their illusions, everyone just think they did really good or even black magic *Yes indeed they really, really perform well IMO*, but once everything was revealed and how and where they learned from, and how they got their ideas from, people don't really appreciate it much in a way or 2.
Now as u can see they try to keep on moving, but they can't catch up with modern magician, and somehow they will still lose out.. Because new ppl alrdy learning from them PLUS ppl who THEY *DC/DB* tried to get ideas from, and ideas keep evolving..
If in the 1st place, origins was not being revealed, OR, ideas, tricks, methods was not being revealed, they would have done much better than where they stand now..

And if everything is needed to be as clear, it's okaes and I will explain, as alrdy so many ppl know how it's done..
But in another way, this will certainly be like a "oh u r retard I have to tell u everything", althought I realize this section is to share what ppl have created or things like this, and since anything can falls in here, and I didn't add "My card change full routine" "My card change pretty COOL" "My card change, only thing I know and it FOOLS",
it's meant to be, ok? IT'S MEANT to be a short clips, that let u have an ideas, things, can it be done? OR it CAN be added in any, even your new routine.

So here..
My whole routine to that 1st video shown;

Is actually that someone can really pick ANY card in a deck,
Put it back, get hold of their card position, shuffle, then do a small routine while talking to them, eyes contact, and have their SELECTED card move around, so it's opposite the other 51 cards,

Next, control it to the top 2nd card, have them pick another 2 card and place it on top,

Next, by any methods you want, convince them with your nonsense or whatever, grab the top 4 cards out, showing them with emsly count or whatever it's spelled *I dont remember names*, that INDEED all 4 CARDS and face down.

Then take the 1st card, placing it behind to be the 4th *That is a must, becuz u have to get the opposite card to be in the middle when u open it* while you are doing this, you can generally do it with like a normal gasture with the rest of the 3 cards on your left hand, with the opposite included, slightly reveal abit or even more if you have good control over cards, the white parts at sides of cards, will not make them realize/obvious 1 of the card is opposite.

After u open the cards, and that they saw the middle is turned over, they might have questions..
Questions like..
"YOU HAVE A DOUBLE SIDE CARD"
"YOU HAVE 5 CARDS"
their questions will be endless,

SO I throw in that ending, by showing them, INFACT not only I HAVE 4 CARDS, I DO NOT HAVE THE 5th, And I do NOT USE A DOUBLE SIDE CARD.

I can then hand them over all 4 cards for inspection, and IF they have signature on it, it will be a added effect which is really cool for people who alwaes have questions at the end of a trick..

I dont see the need of having explaining everything, I believe this community is to share with each other, not finding unnecessary issue.
If you have problems, share it out with me or even us, not having a direct-hit-kind of messages or replies.. It will deem seem fit to be in the catagory of a "USELESS/SPAM" replies.

I have to mention something that the Mods didn't mentioned here.

Let us remember that this is an online forum, not a living hitting one that everyday you have people coming in and sit down and talk about stuffs. But yes, we do have sessions for gathering and sharing magic. (Pardon me for not being in any of the session for a period of time)

But back to online forum, it means there are tons of different people around, people acting to be good, or bad, or adult or kids. I mean is, there is no way to judge a person and to know that he is a grown up or not.

And that makes criticism very easy. People can simply say, its pointless, you lousy etc, but there is no way you can defend for it and say, "show it to me". Because this person might not even exist at all.

Good example, David Copperfield sign up for this forum, and starts criticizing people of bad magic and lousy performance. What can you do? Ask him to perform in this forum? Apparently there is nothing you can do, but there is only 1 small thing you can do. "Give and Take"

Take anything meaningful from the criticism, and throw away those that you feel is useless to you. End of story, no point going on and ranting about a criticism that someone have mentioned in the forum just to prove that he is wrong. He won't be hurt in anyway at all, but you will be wasting your time, and energy and mood to push him down, while he won't even budge if he don't care.

Take a look at Magic Cafe, people bash people so badly that you can really take a gun and shoot the person, for stupid or useless replies. But nothing happen, you don't see angry people ranting on and on just to prove their senses. Thats just a waste of time.

Look, what over is already over, its 3 years ago and you could be new at that time, with no proper tools. Now is 3 years later and you could have gone better, don't bother about what people said 3 years ago, but let people see what happened to you after 3 years. Making a scene here only makes people think that you still live in the past and haven't move on.

So move on with it. Who never..
