It's pretty weak compared to kelvar. kelvar is the toughest man-made material around, so it is unlikely there is a stronger out there.
Pet 2.0 is very elastic and not a suitable thread for normal IT effects like hummer card effects, etc. Because it is so elastic, the weight of a card will pull the IT much longer. 5x longer, as claimed by the manufacturers. It makes levitating objects harder to control. Different weight objects cause a vast difference in the length of the IT when tension is applied to it. It also breaks fairly easily.
Are you thinking of using this for loops? If you are getting this just for normal IT effects, give this IT a miss. If you think tying knots with IT is tough, try tying knots with PET 2.0. Twice as hard.
Some say that PET 2.0 is more invisible that kelvar, but it seems the same to me (if not more visible); minus the strength of the kelvar.
I don't like it. Gave it up for my normal kelvar IT. Hope that helps. B)

Well, compared to IT, i believe that pet 2.0 is a little more visible. But i don't really feel good to use it for levitation. If you do hummer card and bill levitation. I think that sticking to IT would be good enough.
I cannot comment on the comparison with kelvar. But i agree with joeltay that if you want to use pet 2.0 to tie loops, it would be a good idea. I personally use it for loops and i love it as i know i don't have to worry about breaking them.

PET 2.0 is elastic IT. Elastic IT is not supposed to be used for standard IT use. There are a few effects which you can use elastic IT for such as having cards stand on their edges on a table.
Elastic IT is also used for the boomerang card which is a card which you spin out and away from you and then because of the elastic IT it will spin out to some distance and then come back to you like a boomerang. It's a very strong and visual effect.
The standard use for elastic IT however is for tying loops. PET 2.0 is pretty good elastic IT and is strong for elastic IT. You can't compare kevlar or standard IT to elastic IT as they are used for different purposes so it's basically comparing two completely different things as if they were the same.
