Title: Spread On The Table F**ce?
muscleaxl - August 26, 2006 10:15 AM (GMT)
Is there any F**CE that can be done with the deck ribboned-spread on the table?

Let's just say yes, but why would you need to anyway?
-"classic"
-mirage
-one-way

yes, there is. It's called the "table spread f**ce" It's a bit like the fan f**ce except that this is spread on the table. ^_^

Former president John Kennedy's
Mindpower Deck- it's so strong, it'll be like two blows to the head to your spectators.
Shiet... there goes my political correctness in THIS place.

If you're going for a particular card, the Mindpower deck won't help you. But as Kevin said, it's strong stuff.
I can think of a couple of ways to force from a ribbon spread; an equivoque of some sort would work, as would some psychological methods using displacement.

I remember reading abt at least 2 methods to do this in one of the Card College books. 1 of it even allows you to THROW the deck spread out on the table and the spec picks one and it's the f-card.

Wow! That is amazing. Very interesting Aloy. Any idea what are the names of these 2 forces? I suppose it uses a regular deck right, and not a One-Way forcing deck. :P
As mentioned by niquetan, using psychological methods of displacement is possible to force a card but I don't think its easy for a deck of 52 cards. Ning ever did one on me with 3 cards and it worked. Right Ning? hehe... ^_^

Yeah, it ain't easy and you'll probably miss as much as you hit.
In addition to the placement of the target card (jogged, angled, slightly more exposed), there also other elements like rushing them to make a selection fast and gesturing to a particular area in the spread with your hands.
Not fool proof and not proven they work, but they're known methods nonetheless.

LOL after reading this thread, I realised I don't even know of one card force that can be done on the table spread out. It seems to be even more difficult than a Classic Force.
How about the Cut Deeper Force?
You can still spread it out and babble about how random and fair it is.
niquetan - August 28, 2006 06:15 AM (GMT)
That would work... ^_^
Though I doubt that's the look of the selection process that muscleaxl was going for.

Ya...Table spread force veryyyyy difficult.
Use one way force deck can? lol

there's a video..called 40 ways to f**ce a card..i cant remember the creator but i watched it quite sometime ago..in the video tape he offered two kinds of f**ces. one is the 100% hit f**ces..and oso those that are more risky, which he calls them 'opportunity f*ce', where by u sort of provide an opportunity for the spec to go along wif the flow n if she/he does..then he/she's in for a 'treat'. So the table spread f**ce is a opportunity f**ce..jus dun expect ur spec to pick the right card EVERY SINGLE TIME.
