Sony has apparently unveiled a new pink-colored PlayStation Portable at the Leipzig Games Convention being held this week in Germany. As IGN reports, the pink PSP, announced at the same time as a new pink PS2, is set for release in Europe only in late October and will be sold as a Value Pack with accessories such as white headphones and a 32MB Memory Stick Duo. Targeted towards young women, this colorful PSP will also offer “access to exclusive P!nk-related downloads, courtesy of Sony's YourPSP.com service”.

To counter Sony's new release, Nintendo soon announced that they will release the new Pink Nintendo DS on the same day.

The Nintendo DS looks rather ugly. Doubt I'll buy either anyway. Pink PSP looks cool though.

Nintendo DS sure looks ugly but it improved a lot in DS Lite, especially its thickness.
It is now about the same in thickness compared to PSP.
Comparing DS to PSP is unfair but watch out for the remake of Final Fantasy III on DS!
I watched the trailer and it seems to be in PSOne's FFVIII standard, which is not bad for Nintendo ^_^

But FF III isn't all that popular...
Recently, FF VII shot above the other FFs with the movie, so... there's been plenty of hype.
No game for the latter though. :P (not that i know of, that is)
By the way, I actually prefer the pink of the DS more than the PSP. looks less like cough drops... :g:
But the psp has a better design that doesn't resemble the game gear...

I was at a comic shop somewhere in AMK central when I saw this FFVII game on PS2.
My friend told me that it was rumored to be released ONLY on PSP so it was a surprise.
Do a little Google-ing on 'Dirge of Cerberus : Final Fantasy VII'.
