alright quick question: is it me or is windows messenger down or something? i've been trying to sign in the whole day and it keeps giving me these dumb error messages. it's not my laptop either since i've tried signing in from different coms and with different accounts. it keeps feeding me this bs line about not being able to connect and it gives this error code 81000314 which apparently means that messenger is unable to retrieve my contact list or something. man windows live is a bitch, i should've stuck to msn messenger instead of upgrading.

after all messenger is my LIFE (not really). well i need to discuss something pretty important and this problem's really pissing me off right now. anyone else here having the same problem?

I've got the same thing too. Damn, screw window live messenger. My other friends are getting it too. Haha, be relieved that it is not virus as it seems many people are getting it...

its only happen on msn live i think. MSN is still working. =) try msn web

Wasn't just the MSN messenger.. I couldn't even access internet.

My brother said Singnet and Starhub are affected, due to the IMF Banking thingy thats going on now..Dunno how true is it.. I also dont have any slightest idea why that would affect our internet networks..

But true, my MSN and internet was indeed down last night..

internet access can be fixed by using the proxy server of your respective isp.

and yes msn was down. I was able to sign in using web messenger and window messenger tho.
