Title: The Black Deck Elevator
Description: Which one?
muscleaxl - September 19, 2006 06:32 AM (GMT)
I wonder does anybody have The Black Deck. It's not the Black Tiger, but Bicycle Black Deck.
Anyway, there are a few gaff cards inside and I just want to know which one is the Elevator Card? For those who know, thanks a lot.

Doenst elevator trick require a gimmick?
LarryDK - September 21, 2006 03:57 AM (GMT)
Ah, An elevator deck cost you around 30 over dollars.
The whole deck is gimmicked. So those gaff cards are just gaff cards. Not an elevator card.

Oh, because according to the website, I should be getting an "Elevator" Card with the deck. There was no mention that I need to purchase an extra "Elevator Deck".
I am not too sure as none of the gaff inside looked anything that might elevate.

Maybe... It's a card, with a picture of an elevator!
...
Okaaay, maybe not. :ph43r: Anyway, are you sure you didn't get mixed up? Maybe the paragraphs were woven too closely together or something.
Asides from that suspicion, well... From what I know, the black deck and the elevator kinda has no link whatsoever.

This is what i meant, seems like a totally different trick to me.
I have not opened my BT gaff yet but those who have, are they the same as Ghost Gaff? I didnt compare them so i'm not sure.

Ok, this is what is written on Penguin:
"Beyond the 52 standard cards, this deck holds 4 extra magic cards sure to take your card work to the highest levels of illusion.
Bonus effects supported with extra cards include:
The Vanishing Deck
Red Bicycle Box Transforms To The Black Deck
The Blank Deck To Real Cards
Many, Many More Effects With The "Elevator Card" "
So I am under the impression it has an Elevator Card. But apparently none of it looked remotely like one.

maybe you can write an email to penguin and ask them which card is it?

hey guys, this is the reply I got from penguin:
"Unfortunately that card varies from deck to deck -- we never know which one is being shipped with what deck. Sorry.
Best,
Kevin
Penguin Magic"
that means we can never trust what they advertise on the website.

If it is one thing I've learn, it is that their service is terrible. That is why I converted from a Penguin fan to an anti Penguin fan. Some of you might remember me complaining sometime ago about not being to access the discussion forum, up to now, so they still have not done anything about it. I've given up on them already.

That is utter BS... how can a deck be not standardised?
