Title: Lunch Gathering 7th October
Markiebeth - September 25, 2006 12:51 PM (GMT)
Hi people, Ling and I intend to organise a lunch gathering for the people here in SMC since it's been a while. This would be taking place next Saturday at Seoul Garden Takashimaya. Details are as follows:
Date: 7 October 2006
Venue: Seoul Garden Takashimaya
Time: 12 Noon
It would be great if we can just come together for lunch and get to know each other (for first timers) or simply to bond. Please take note that cost would probably amount to about $20 max. So start saving for those who do want to come.
We will probably session a little after that and then those who want can continue to chill out while others can go about their own activities.
Whether or not this outing will be held depends solely on your active participation. Those interested kindly leave your name in this thread :)

C'mon guys, if there isn't at least 10 people this is going to be yet another outing gone down the drain...Participation is what we are asking for. :)
zomaziz - September 26, 2006 12:29 PM (GMT)
Yeap, if you guys are worried because the exams are near...
Well, think of this gathering as a short break! It's on a saturday.
Plus, it's just lunch, after all.
And besides, it's just an exam. LOL. kidding. Please study hard also~
:off:
Anyway, Freeze, no kidding! I've never eaten at Seoul Garden before.

This is such a BAD BAD idea. No offense intended, but everyone's like... mugging for exams.
No matter how hard I want and try to, I cannot come. sorry.

Ya. I'm mugging and only free after A lvls which is 29 Nov. Maybe after that? Seoul Garden sounds like an awesome place but this is also the Fasting period so those Muslims cant come also. So in short not many ppl would come? Haaa. Not that I want to be a wet blanket. Haa. Maybe can organise another one in December?
:)

Well for those who feel they need a short 'off' from their studying and stuff perhaps this would be a good opportunity? Of course we also have the non-student working adults so ypus :) Though we don't often see them around. *hint*
For those who feel it is too soon and all, of course we can always arrange for another one at a later date. That would be promptly arranged for depending on the response as usual.
Okay as an added incentive I will teach all those who come a simple card effect ya? Of course do not expect it to be commercialised, meaning it really is something that most would already know of so... (think along 21 card trick line) :P

I'll be working that weekend but if you guys will be in town till late, I may be able to meet up with you then ;) Have fun feasting!

Another gathering for the same old people :)
Markiebeth - October 4, 2006 06:12 AM (GMT)
Anyone still interested in this? Seems to be dying off already. I'm sure those who do not have exams or aren't schooling can take an hour or two off for lunch right? :)
dtjk - October 5, 2006 03:42 PM (GMT)
If the response isnt too good.. We probably wont eat Seoul Garden I guess.. Probably just go somewhere not as expensive (Subway for example), and have a jamming session there.. :)
zomaziz - October 6, 2006 07:11 AM (GMT)
Hmm, I wouldn't mind eating anywhere.
(and another chance to eat Seoul Garden bites the dust...? haha~)
By the way, which MRT is Takashimaya? Orchard? Somerset?
Heh, I haven't been around that area much.
... I'm looking forward to that 21-card trick!
Markiebeth - October 6, 2006 02:14 PM (GMT)
From what I see this meeting is probably going to be cancelled. Donovan is pulling out as well leaving us with 5? Probably next time when we can gather a larger strength. Sorry for the disappointment guys...
dtjk - October 6, 2006 05:25 PM (GMT)
Wow, I didnt know I so tua3 bai1.. Haha, cos my tuition suddenly popped out of nowhere.
Next time after exams perhaps! :)
theWeaver - October 6, 2006 06:04 PM (GMT)
Really sorry to hear another meeting cancelled. I would really love to join you guys, but it is indeed a busy period when the year is ending. Not just for school goers, but for quite alot of companies too. Can't squeeze out too much time.. And because i work freelance, weekends i rush for datelines too.. And other commitments of cos.. =[
zomaziz - October 6, 2006 11:58 PM (GMT)
Doh... :(
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to eat at home.
Study hard! If not, the cancelling of this meet would be kind of wasted.
Cheers
zomaziz - October 7, 2006 03:37 AM (GMT)
Sorry for the double post, but I have a feeling some people won't see the cancellation and will still turn up. :ph43r:
I'll be in that area today, anyway. Might go see if anyone went... haha~
