I have produced some mentalist effects based on my ideas or modified presentation of classical mental effects.

You could post, PM me your orders and collect (and pay) when meeting me on Saturday.
I will be in Burger King, Orchard Road (beside Border Bookshop) on Saturday, 30 Sept 2006 at 15.00-16.00
I will have limited number of these effects, first order come first served.


This is the list :

1. EUROPEAN DREAM ( 15 SG$ )

You give 4 travel brochures to 4 different spectators. Inside the travel brochure they have the price list of airfare, hotel, city tours and evening dinners. You ask all of them to combine an imaginary trip asking them to choose randomly each item and each price. Then you ask someone to add all the prices. You will have a total price of the imaginary trip. You open the prediction envelope that was on the table all the time. The amount in the envelope will be exactly the same as the total price of the imaginary trip.
You will get all the props (4 color travel brochures, plastic cover) and instruction.

2. DARK SIDE (15 SG$)

You give a book to your volunteer. He opens at any page, and chooses any word from that page. After that he will mentally choose a year in the past, and a name of any city.
After a strong concentration, you are able to tell what are the word, the year and the city that he is thinking of.
You will get the "props" (book) and the instruction.

3. PROGNOSTICO ( 10 SG $ )

The performer puts some playing cards on the table. He asks a volunteer to choose any card and put it on the floor. The other remaining cards are covered by a black cloth. After concentration, the performer is able to identify the card that the volunteer chooses.
You will get the cards, black clothe and instruction.

4. FIVE KEYS TO PARADISE ( 15 SG $ )

Five keys are in your hands. One padlock is on the table. Your spectators have a freedom of choices. He chooses all the keys one by one. No matter how hard he tries, he fails to open the padlock with all the keys. Finally you end up with the last key (by elimination of his choices). Miracle! The last key is the one that will open the padlock.
(The padlock is always in his hand, and while he tries to open it you never touch the padlock).
You will get the padlock (silver, 7cm height) , keys and instruction.

5. Strict Force Book Test (10 SG $)
A book is on the table. Your volunteer is free to examine it. You ask 3 spectators to write a number on a notepad. You show the notepad the volunteer on a stage. You ask him to mentally chooses one of the page without telling anybody. He looks at the first word on that page. Nobody knows the word, nobody knows the page number except him.
After a deep concentration, you could read his mind and tell what is the word that he is thinking of.
You will get the book, the notepad and instruction.

6. Hoy Book Test, Story Book version ( 10 SG $ )

Two books on the table and the spectator freely chooses one. Another spectator announces a number between 1 to 150 (the number of pages in the book), and the first spectator looks at the first word on that page. The performer concentrates and reveals the selected word.
You will get 2 story books and instruction.

7. Hoy Book Test, Travel Guide version ( 15 SG $ )

Two books on the table and the spectator freely chooses one. Another spectator announces a number between 1 to 170 (the number of pages in the book), and the first spectator looks at the first word on that page. The performer concentrates and reveals the selected word.
You will get 2 travel-guide books and instruction.

8. Casino Escape ( 15 SG $)

Five casino chips are in a bag. Four yellow chips and one red chip. You ask five members of audience to take one chip and hold in your hand.
You look into their eyes, and you know which color they have in their hand.
You will get a bag, 5 casino chips and instruction.

9. Magician's dream ( 15 SG$ )

You toss your little pocket calendar; "Open the calendar, note that I have hand written a different card in every day of the year; 365 days, seven decks of cards spread at random -- check it out.
Have several spectators choose any date in the year. "Do you have your date? If you had chosen the date before, would it have been the same card? No? What about the date after? No? They are all different cards.
You put 50$ on the table. “If I fail to read your mind, the 50$ is yours.” But you really fail. Then you ask,”For the first time, then, what card is written on your date?" The spectator names the card.
The performer then turn the 50$ note on the other side. The name of the card is written on it.
You will get the diary, the necessary props and instruction.

10. CLASSIC MAGAZINE TEST ( 15 SG$ )

This is a mental prediction effect. The performer first shows a sealed envelope which he leaves untouched until its revelation at the end of the effect. He next displays 3 magazines (e.g. Time, Business Week and Fortune).
He then asks a volunteer to choose one word from those 3 magazines of the magazines (no forcing is involved whatsoever; it is a totally free choice). Whichever is the magazine selected, the performer discards the other two. The performer tears out several pages from the chosen magazine. Again, the spectator has a totally free choice as to which page will be used for the effect. The page is then torn by the performer into 3 columns, and the spectator once again, has a free choice of any of the columns.
With the chosen column from the chosen page of the chosen magazine, the performer uses a pair of scissors and slides it up the column. At any point in time, the spectator is free to say “stop” (no force is needed), and at that very point, the performer cuts the piece of paper across, and a small piece falls to the table.
The spectator picks up that piece of paper, and asked to confirm that all the words are different. The spectator is then requested to announce the first word on that piece of paper, which is the word he said “stop” at. Finally, he is asked to open the sealed envelope which was displayed in the open from the very start. The prediction which is contained inside is read aloud and amazingly, it matches the word he selected.
You will get a magazine, supplies for 10 performances and instruction.

I was just wondering if you have any pictorial for the book props. As in like the cover and stuff. Esp for effects like "The Dark Side".

By saying this every have a freedom of choices, let 4 persons chooses one of the keys. No matter how hard they tries, they fails to open the padlock with all the keys.

Finally you end up with the last key (by elimination of his choices).
