It was a competition that saw 3000+ participants. Only 12 made it to the final-12(duh..). And only 2 will have a 50-50 chance of getting this coveted title.

I still wonder why Hady won :( . I like him but I like Jonathan more. I think Jonathan has a better voice and charisma.

Hady won probably he has more supporters. The problem with these types of shows is, you don't have to be good to win, you need supporters to win. They should probably have a system where the results will depend 50% from the judges and 50% from the public.

Well, even though Hady won, I think Jonathan will make it if he follows.

BTW, I saw Taufik's cd at Giant selling at $5 and Sylvester's cd selling at $3 a few months ago. :wacko:

I love that guy... but I know this is not the last we'll see of him la :lol: No offense to Hady supporters (if Jon Leong wasn't Jon Leong, maybe I'd like him too *giggle*) but sometimes the #2 guy actually get it better... like in American Idol, whatever happened to the Velvet Teddy Bear? Cut one albulm, and he faded into oblivion :P

btw.. i feel that the new batch of SGI contestants are far far behind the previous batch.. look at the final few that made it.. and why did mathilda not get through?! she was like obviously the "substance" :wacko: and also, not to anger any jon fans here but hady should win, judging from the wider range of vocals and stage presence, hady would have an upper hand.

Magicdow, i couldn't agree with you more myself. the current system is unstable, no doubt. there's bound to be voters who opt for looks than quality. and that's why the creators of SI should revamp the voting system for the good of all. by the way, there are rumours that there isn't going to be SI Season 3. are they true or are they just rumours???

Didn't hear anything about that... but anyways, I have a very important question. I hope someone knows...
