Hi Apavoo,
I don't know what you're requesting is legal and please don't blame me if I'm a bit skeptical. This is a big amount we're talking about and 30% is way more than enough for me.
However, before we proceed further, I'd appreciate if you can provide more concrete proof in your predicament. Like I said in my previous mail, we Taoist have some practices that will seem weird to others. I may have to seek advice from my master Ah Kong. Ah Kong may request a pic of you as my master will be able to tell a person is truthful or not by looking at the pic.
If you are agreeable, please provide me a pic of yourself. However, I need to know if the pic is really a pic of you. I need to show this pic to my master Ah Kong. When he says ok, I'll go ahead and work with you.
Frankly, I'm quite eager to work with you but you have to please my master first. Maybe, in your pic you can hold a piece of paper with these words written "I like Kum L** C****" (Kum L** C***** is the name of my master's sect). I'm sure my master will be please. (* used for those who are underage)
We can proceed further after my master's' approval. Thanks.
Yours
Nin Lao Pei
Let's see where we go from here.
<Aaron> - September 30, 2006 04:32 AM (GMT)
haha please post his reply. Though i don't really get the scam part, i get the Nin lao pei. Sounds like he's the one getting scammed. =)
P.S. what is Kum L** C****"?
Magicdow - September 30, 2006 04:34 AM (GMT)
These people will try to get greedy people to fall for their scam. The ignorant ones will send them some money in the process.
Kum L** C**** is a very crude word in Hokkien.
LarryDK - September 30, 2006 07:18 AM (GMT)
Naughty naughty.
Ya, thats super lame. I doubt he will reply you, because it means finding someone as a scrape goat. Unless he use a photoshop to edit a picture online.
Hehe, But the word you used, damn crude. I think if he come to singapore, I looking for this temple called KLC, most people will give him the, I bash you face. :P
<Aaron> - September 30, 2006 02:17 PM (GMT)
cool, i asked me dad what is Kum l** C**** and he told me. However it doesn't sound like KLC. hmm, wonder if they are the same.

Surprisingly you are still alive ?
Is either your dad got it wrong and told you the wrong meaning, or he's trying to get away from telling you what is that 3 words about.
P.S: It's a Vulgar word in the dialect call "Hokkien".
Good Day ~

Magicdow, you should consider this site:
http://www.419eater.com/ I highly recommend others to check out the site as well. It's about people fighting back against scammers. Some of the stories are actually quite funny. You should also check out the trophy room which has pictures of the scammers doing funny things or holding up funny signs.
This is my favorite article:
http://www.419eater.com/html/martins_davis.htmIt's quite long and you need to download some of the audio-s but I thought it was well worth it in the end.
On the serious note; if you want to know what the 419 scam really is, check out the 419 FAQ page.

My reply to him
Sorry, I have strict instructions from my master and I do hope you understand. Though I wish to help, I cannot go against my master's instruction.
Trix - October 12, 2006 06:00 AM (GMT)
Rofl. I believe he's freaking pissed after spending so much time to persuade you, yet rejected in the end.
Perhaps he will come personally to look for KLC sect after he manages to scam a poor victim enough for airfare. ^_^
zomaziz - October 12, 2006 12:38 PM (GMT)
Just dawned on me. What if he's telling the truth? :!!:
That would be sooo confusing. And plenty of fun.
Magicdow - October 18, 2006 07:28 AM (GMT)
He is back
Dear Sir,
how are you and your family,
My mother was so unhappy when she got your mail and she ask me to tell you if you can give her your masters telephone number so that she will have heart to heart discussion with him ok.
we went to our pastor and our pastor told us that you are the rightful person to assist us in this business transaction as regards to this transfer but that the spirit of God has never come in to your heart at this time and that when time comes, that you will help us and the man of God revealed to us that we should not do this business with another person for safety reason.
please kindly get back to us immediately you recieve this message.
Thank you and God bless you,
APAVOO LUTALO
FOR THE FAMILY.
My reply
I can't help if your mother is unhappy. I told my master and he is more adamant on having to look at your photo. If I am the man that your god has said so, I don't see anything that will hurt by providing the photo.
I grow up in a very strict environment and I must obey K** L** C**** sect's instruction. I hope you understand.
lukold - October 18, 2006 06:39 PM (GMT)
