The Review


Effect
The effect plays out exactly what you see on Andrew Mayne's website. You can literally take pictures of the "unexplained" from any corner of your room. And yes, this can be done with ANY camera phones. Digital cameras too.


The DVD
The video is 24 minutes long. Teachings by Andrew Mayne are clear and detailed. He even teaches you how to make your own gimmick. In addition, is a bonus effect called "The Haunted Key". The bonus is not very practical unless you can find the proper "props".

The Gimmick
The gimmick, is an everyday thing you see. The handling that A.M devised is so easy and clever that it looks literally invisible in your hands. Very easy to construct...its all up to your own creativity.

Any Other Matters
There are a couple of easy forces that were taught. One of them is a forcing bag :blink: , which I don't think I would use. But still worth a look.



Pros
Visual (you can literally see the "thing" move across the hp screen :lol: )
Easy to perform
Lots of ideas on the gimmick, not only creating ghosts but also revelations, writings.
Good price.

Cons
A little bit of angle problem
24 mins for a dvd is too short.

I don't know if it's because i feel that the audiences are getting smarter these days or is it just me being picky.. But somehow, it just seems pretty obvious to me.. =[

Sounds cool. Looks cool. I got an idea of how he does it. Maybe I'll try it out.

Ghost Vision by Andrew Mayne

Here's what you get:
A 24 min DVD that demos & explains Ghost Vision, PLUS, it also includes pre-made gimmicks which you can use right away. The DVD also teaches you how to create your own original ghouls and teaches you how to also utilise it as a predicition tool. A nice bonus feature also has Andre Mayne teach the hindu shuffle and a variant, plus a DIY force bag technique, which can be used for a mind reading/ ghostly help prediciton effect utilising Ghost Vision ^_^ Also included in the DVD is an impromptu haunted keys effect.

Now this is what's great about it:
Ghost Vision is so easy yet so visual, and there's only one sleight to learn to start people screaming. Reset is almost instant and it's very clean... I think this would be GREAT for Halloween which is just about a week away! :) Not only can you use this on your camera phone, it can be done on borrowed phones or digicams as well!

So, in a nutshell:
Highly recommended! :lol: I freaked out my sister this evening... presented nicely, it's REALLY STRONG STUFF! A special note... Andrew Mayne actually credits thanks to James Randi, Paul Harris, David Blaine & Cyril Takayama for Ghost Vision too! Who knows, we may just see Cyril do his take on this in future? *grin* A steal for the price it's going for!!!

Ok since i got the dvd, heres my review.

I gotta say it is a pretty clever trick. Yes, the gimmick is totally 'invisible' to the audience but if one were to concentrate hard on the camera screen, there is a slight posibility that the gimmick might be exposed. (you will understand why once u buy it)

Overall i do not say that this dvd is a must buy but if u have some 20 plus bucks cash lying around, hey why not?
