Rider backs cost around $4 or $4.50 on average.
Get from dealers around here. ^_^
Never get from Magic Shops, never ever. How bout $8.50 per pack sounds to you? Top in another buck or more and you have enough to buy a deck of Masters.
Edit: You can pm dealers like Ning or Cadbury. Others too.

I've got regular Bikes in stock so lemme know if you need any ;) I'd honestly recommend you use these regular Bicycle cards first before 'graduating' to others like Tally Hos (good stuff!), and perhaps the Master Ed. ones (which I think is really over-hyped).
Cheers! ^_^

Actually, it depends which magic shop you buy from. Some will obviously be cheaper than others. But the cheapest I think would still be around $4.50. So, it's probably still cheaper to get it from the dealers from the forums.
From discussions on the Masters Edition deck, some of the first edition decks seem to be unfannable. So, you might want to wait for the second edition if you plan on buying it. Regular bikes are probably more value for money anyway, even if the Masters Edition are fannable. I doubt anything produced by ellusionist would be value for money.
Also, if it's too much trouble to find Bikes, just get Aladdins. You can find them in many shops, not just specialised card shops. Check your neighbourhood mama store. Around $3 a deck. May not last as long as Bikes, but it feels better, and is cheaper. (I actually prefer Aladdins, but that's probably just me.)

Have at least one normal bicycle deck by your side for your frequent usuage. Just take it as your 'trashing' deck and don't hold back in experimenting with any tricks or sleights that you might want to do. You'll experience them dropping, getting dirty and might even tear it.
I used to like the normal bikes (the older batches) as the stock is much firmer than what they are now. Even so they are still a good deck to practise with (although their back printing is off most of the time)
Personally, i feel that Aladdins might loose out to bikes due to the absence of the air-cushioning, so it might be more worth while to spend a little more (about $1) for a bike.
After this you can see what kind of decks interest you and you can then identify with all the available decks out there like Ghost Decks, Black Tigers, Tallys, etc... all of which are quite comparable to each other.
Maybe you can get a few decks at a time... hopefully the dealers might give you some discount :)
p.s. choose a deck which you like and you'll feel good performing with it.
