Does anyone here own a Black Ghost Deck? So much speculations has been made about releasing a second edition of it.
If you do own one... did you open it to see or you just locked it in some safe :)

Yeah it is... that's why if ever get it, it'll just sit nicely framed up somewhere. With a tag 'For Display Only' :)

thats more expensive then a deck of jerry nuggets!!

Yah...Wanted to get those too. I think they might have more intrinsic value than BGDs.

Its not worth getting just a deck for that kinda price, unless you're rich and ur into deck collecting then it may be ok. But overall with that bucks u could have better stuff like extreme card stuff in a book or dvd format which is more valuable. :g: just a suggestion.

UDS$150 for a BGD
=
More than enough for a deck of nuggets
=
top in another USD$10 for ET
=
around 50 decks of standard bikes.
i would definitely not like to buy them, unless i'm a harcore card collector or what. A deck of jerrys is somehow more worth it.

One man's poison, another man's passion
Did you know you can fund the education of several under priviledged African kids with money like that? Well. Food for thought.

Did you know you can fund the education of several, no, Many under priviledged African kids if you saved up all the money you spent on magic. ^_^

hmm, has anyone taken into consideration the circumstances behind the black ghost deck? =) i think it's understandable really, and they look really good. and the price is justified especially if e continues to keep it unreleased.

I think it'll be really, really sad if you bought it for USD$150, only to receive an announcement next day that the deck is back in print... :ph43r:
I've never seen the deck though. If I had one, I would definitely open it to have a look. I mean, since you're gonna collect it (and not sell it), why torture your curiousity by keeping it sealed, right?

wait Nov 1st..if I win the Indecent grand prize, I will get one BG deck

It's all about marketing :D Obviously when a price is high, everyone will expect something extrodinary about it. Unless your a deck collector, it just makes no sense to me to get one deck, which is at 150 US dollars where you can get the same quality cards at 3.50. (Well I can't really judge on the quality as I have'nt actually seen them myself) But I would think that it would be like the master's deck.
As expected, ellusionist has always been good with marketing their stuff. So raising the price and making it a collecter's item may be hard to resist for a deck collector.
Well thats just IMHO, so don't mind me if I have insulted anyone :P
