Remember the thread I started on The Art of Pickup Magic? I talked about this book "The Game" and inside this book there is this guy, Msytery who is supposedly an "accomplished magician."

Well, I did a check on this guy. Turned out his real name is Erik Von Markovic, and he really was a magician who won numerous awards when he was younger. Heard that his dream was to have a TV special like Copperfield (with 2 strippers as assistants).

But he has since turned to teaching horny guys on how to pick up women, guess what... using magic!!

Ok, I am not advocating what he is teaching (in my opinion, it doesn't work, at least not in Singapore). I just felt sad that he decided to use his magic talent in some questionable areas.

He did mention in the book that he wanted to become a professional magician. And if I remember correctly, he did make an attempt. However, I guess he realised that he could make more money this way. Or failed as a magician. Or it was "more fun" to do this.
