Tempest Concept by Andrew Normansell

Here's what you get:

There's more than an hour of solid card magic packed in this DVD, utilising the original Tempest Concept taught by creator, Andrew Normansell :) Yes, another Englishman, but unlike Harry Robson the jolly bumbling grampa, Andrew Normansell is more classy in his presentation and approach. Using the simple but diabolical Tempest concept, Andrew Normansell reveals a variety of stunning card effects that have been proven time and again to get impact reactions from real audience as he has been using these for his professional work as a working magician.

It is extremely obvious once you watch this... that this DVD was made with love, it is VERY professionally made. Perhaps the best put-together DVD I've ever seen (which is, ALOT!) and if you're looking for something strong beyond the typical training material (staple stuff from Darryl or Ammar), you will want to consider Tempest. You just need a deck of cards and you're set to build a storm!

Now this is what's great about it:

If you're a serious close-up magician who does table hopping/ street magic regularly, you will like the effects on this solid card magic DVD :) There are routines where your audience can participate and seem as if they're the ones doing the magic!

The routine in Typhoon for instance, allows just that - your audience guessed the position of their card in the magician's pocket and they're right. There's also Cyclone, which is the fastest pickpocket demo ever yet easy to do :lol: If there's any of you who work in a restaurant or pub, you'll like Breeze, which is a signed card in bottle routine ^_^

So, in a nutshell:

Crisp, clear accent, no worries at all about not being able to hear what's been said in this very well made DVD. Explainations are detailed and uncomplicated, with Andrew Normansell patiently going through important touch points, while the camera does another take from a different angle to help comprehension and eleminate confusion when it comes to certain moves or sleights.

Subtleties are also taught, along with some audience psychology and overall, I enjoyed the ride :lol: The Tempest Concept rocks... after this DVD, you just need a deck of cards to do some seriously wicked magic out there. Recommended!!! :P
