See if you make the silhouette spin clockwise and anticlockwise just by visualization.

Good day,

 Don't understand!

The illusion is suppose to be turning in one direction. But if you stare at it for awhile, it will actually turn the opposite direction.

Try looking at the legs upwards and it may change direction.

Another method is to close your eyes for a few seconds. Imagine how the silhouette will animate in the direction you want and open your eyes to look at the actual silhouette.

Your sure? I think the flash animation just change direction. not an illusion.

You can make the Silhouette change direction just be using the power of your mind. Try it. One of the reasons this illusion works is there is no distinct lines to differentiate whether the legs are in front or behind.

I showed some of my friend and they had an arguement over it. haha.

What a cool optical illusion. hopefully it is not an flash animation to trick everyone. hhahaa

neo23 - November 1, 2006 08:16 AM (GMT)
cool beans.

another way is to look all the way from the shadow to the top

 I can't see anything! She's just going anticlockwise forever...

muscleaxl - November 1, 2006 08:31 AM (GMT)
Can't see any difference. But for me, she is going clockwise forever... so how do you all see?

lukold - November 1, 2006 08:48 PM (GMT)
I'm getting dizzy.

If i am not wrong, this flash has a timer and the direction changes after a min or few seconds....lol.

Lamadude - November 2, 2006 03:37 AM (GMT)
it is definately not a timer. i was looking at it with a friend and the direction we both say are different.
