Hey, may I know what is this? Is it a lesson kind of thing or just compilations of the different kinds of street magic? Also may I know about the Jurong Point place?

booner89 - It's not a teach-in, it's basically the compilation of JC Sum's magic performances on Channel 8 with additional footages and stuff.

It really must be flying off the shelves and they haven't even actively promoted it yet (remember JC Sum's post about it being a bit delayed?) ...Sweet! I hope this makes people more open to accepting magic/ be less guarded when we do street magic in future *grin* Singaporeans need to let loose and let themselves be entertained!
Fyi, the VCD version is available at the stores but the special DVD version (with the interesting audio commentary by JC Sum) can only be obtained through the man himself... so I guess you can contact him direct if you want to grab a copy for yourself :)
If you're really nice, I'm sure JC will even autograph it for you. Heh. I've already got mine, and it's something entertaining that I can watch with my family. My parents caught a bit of his stuff previously on TV but the editing for the DVD is good, and you get to watch all the magic back to back... instead of just a short clip everytime towards the end/ middle of the variety show.
In other words... Support local talent!!!! ^_^

i manage to bought a copy a week ago, the effect that is feature is kinda cool, i like JC's Cups and Ball routine, very nice. At least my dad and my mum thinks that he is amazing, so just buy a copy to support local production.
Its not a teaching/tutorial kind of VCD, just the performance.
IF you are looking for the DVD, just contact him straight, because is not for sale in TS. I spoke to him about 2 weeks ago, he mention that he might put it on sale of SMC members.

I am so so so out dated man... Can someone update me or not lol.. so long never been in here and so many things come up and I feel so outdated and feel like a noob again lol.. hope there is weekend gathering which I can meet you guys all again and u can update me on the newest up coming lol.. :) Is the VCD still available or I have to go hunting again lol yeah must support local talent.. :)

You can buy the VCDs from any TS Video retail store :) DVDs, as mentioned, are only direct from JC. By the way... he'll be filming some new magic stuff tomorrow evening at the Toa Payoh HDB Hub so do swing by to watch the magic *grin* Tell your friends/ family/ neighbours/ classmates/ co-workers/ maid/ etc. :lol: It'd be about 5 till 8ish! Cya guys there!
