Description: a short review

Not really a magic product but it is sort of magic related I guess?

Decided to purchase from E with this huge Black Tiger print that I think any playing card collector or magic enthusiasts might fall in love with. Here's my first ever review so please pardon me if my writing isn't good ^_^

The Packaging
Comes in a brown, hardened cardboard tube with caps on both sides to secure and protect the poster from any form of damage during shipment.

The tubing is so hard that it just makes you feel that nothing will happen to the poster inside. Quite heavy though, thus making shipping slightly more expensive than normal products (International Shipping costs USD$4 from E)

However, when I opened one side of the cap, the poster was slightly crumpled. Perhaps the person who does the packaging didn't give enough room for the sides thus the damage. Fortunately, there's a white border around the prints so nothing was damaged to the real print.

The Poster
Print quality is excellent. The clarity is there with no form of discolouring or whatsoever. Every inch of the print looks and feel equal.

Wow Factor
I want to know whether this poster will make heads turn so instead of driving home, I decided to take the train and see if the poster is able to make people take a second look. I must say, it does! Maybe those people are wondering 'why is this guy carrying such a poster?' or things like that but as I place it upright on the floor while standing up, many kept staring at the poster. I can't help but to think that some people might actually find it nice :P

Framing
It is up to you if you want it framed or not. Of course, when it comes to framing it, be prepared to pay about SGD$35-$70 depending on whether you want extra border or better quality glass material etc The options are yours. Framing is definitely not cheap

I chose a black thin frame without internal borders (due to low budget) but still look not bad IMHO.

What do you think?

Conclusion
Despite the high shipping price and perhaps due to the negligence of the packaging department that causes part of the border to crumple, the wow factor is indeed there especially for those who love playing cards. One might not want to have it framed up due to it being expensive but I must emphasis that poster looks at its best framed. Especially with a internal white border. ^_^

Any1 else manage to buy and ship it in safely? Im interested in getting the poster for myself too but worried that something bad might happen during the shipping process or even in the packing process like in ur case. My previous card-guard had a dent when it arrived at my house! :(

I think we have no control over such mishandling since it's all human error. If you are really unsatisfied about the product when it reaches your door step, maybe you might want to ask for an exchange? I'm sure E will be glad to replace if the reason if valid enough.

Feel so tempted to get the Ghost Deck Poster and have it white-framed ^_^
